That 50s grain truck is sweeeeeeeeet. Imagine that with an LS motor swap and a brake & suspension upgrade, but keeping the original careworn appearance. Perfect for a sympathetic resto-mod. Or maybe put a Cummins in it and use it as a retro work truck. The possibilities are endless. Great, great find.
I was loving that '57 Chevy too. I just wish it wasn't so big and that I had a vision for it. I can't imagine anyone bidding on it so it just might sell for cheap.
Glad you're back . That RV with the computer stations would be perfect to convert to a mobile video game truck to rent out to parties and events , bones already there .
State of Delaware certainly has beautiful cars available. Good for them to be wise to partnership with you Chris to create their videos. Excellent presentation. Rare classics. A few years ahead, those vehicles will be extinct and we will look back on this video with nostalgia as history of an era of time. Thanks for your time and effort in making videos.....
Hey my friend and thanks for checking out the latest auction video. And I was a little surprised when I got a call from the state about making a video. I thought it was a cool opportunity to check out the cars before anyone for the video, but I also got a chance to drive the cars that I was most interested in. With a little luck I'll come home next week with a brown Vic there, that I didn't include in the preview video. And I never thought of it before you mentioned it but yeah, I think you're right about these auction videos being nostalgic. I'm thinking the era of gasoline engined cars might be peaking. Anyways, thanks again, as always, for the comment and I appreciate that and you.
@@hullinger Good luck with the brown crown Vic ( similar to your wrapped one) but best car video was you & your pops in Philly getting the green Lincoln and Chevy caprice last year. Happy motoring. Organize a cars and coffee sometime soon...
Owning a retired police car is by far the best car I've ever owned..... I never was cut off. Folks always let me out from parking lots. And nobody acted like a jackass in traffic around me. It was like driving in a civilized society for a change.
15:58 that is a xlt ford Explorer you can tell by the roof racks and the grille design only present on the civilian xlts. The PIUV 2014 grille design is all black.
Good to see you back, are you going to do another video for this auction and let us know what each vehicle sold for I've gotten used to you doing that. Especially the Vic and the 57 grain truck. Till next time my Friend
Welcome back. Your videos are all great but auction videos are the heart of your channel. Some nice cars and trucks this time around but I'm sure prices will be crazy.
4:29 Chris, did you look to see if the hood latch was already closed on the Caprice? It looks odd that it won't go any lower than that and the small dent on the top wouldn't affect the closing.
Thats a great point about the hood latch being closed, and no I didn't even look into it any further. Once I saw the call-out for the bad transmission along with the body damage, I just lost any interest I had for it.
@@hullinger You should always look for the why. Hoods are one thing that always have to close. It is a safety thing. if they don't it is a latch or it was hit so hard they don't line up. It didn't look like it was hit.
Hey man, thanks for checking out the auction preview video, and it was a pretty sweet surprise to get a call from the folks at the state about doing a video for them. Anyways, thanks as always!
Nope, never did. I just ran out of time and had to split to be elsewhere. I was told that blue Vic was driven in and I didn't see any disclosures on known problems so I'm suspecting it's OK and just needs a battery.
A little different to usual, hope we get an update with prices. That type of place could be dangerous if one was to have some cash burning hole in pocket
I'm wanting to do an update video once the auction ends and list the selling prices but I'm just not yet sure how to do it without using the same video footage.
Thanks for coming back. The condition of that Tahoe was a huge surprise. I'm curious too about what those Stratus's will sell for. I'm betting it will be pretty cheap.
Thanks my friend. I go through these highs and low with my relationship with TH-cam and lately I've been in a low. Making this auction video got me excited again and look forward to getting more videos up.

Hey Chris just make sure you stay away from newer Ford Taurus...at 100,000 miles they need timing chain and gear replacement and since it's integrated into the motor it's a 20hr repair at around $4000 this is a fyi
@@mph5896 if your lucky to have that skill...most do not and a friend's wife's car is sitting in the driveway until they can afford the repair...unless you have a friend that can do it otherwise it's $$$
Nobody would bid on him, he's worthless. I mean, who wants a senile anti-Semitic dementia patient who can't put his jacket on without the help of a grown-up, who trips up stairs, falls off his bike, drops his sunglasses, shakes hands with people who aren't there, forgets what he did 3 seconds ago, who can't read the autocue, or construct a coherent sentence, and sniffs young children live on camera. Who does dodgy deals with China, puts sanctions on the American people instead of Russia, leaves millions of dollars worth of weapons behind for terrorists, and stands before the Jewish people, in Israel, and tells them to honour the holocaust. Aviator Senile is so useless, he even makes Numptie Pelosi look almost competent. Open the bidding at one Cents, and it's still far, far too much. That 2024 election can't come soon enough. Only, I think we'll count the votes by hand this time.

Hey my friend and thanks for checking out the auction preview vid. That $100 goes to USgovBid and it allows you to bid on any of their auctions. Now most of their auctions seem to be in NJ, with some in PA. Of course they have the State of Delaware and a couple beach towns in DE too.
