LOL! Close but no cigar! The chen bros have been reworked into "The 3 Storms" now in newer demos. (This one is pretty old by now) Their attacks as well as color schemes are inspired by Big Trouble in Little Chinatown. It was one of Q's favorite movies. :) Play the newest demo (0.8) from the blogsite!

Well, i must say "NK". You kept word. You said i would not be disappointed, and you're right. This gameplay is off the f**king charts. That double clutched juggle combo @ 6:18 was beautiful. I have got to try that out myself. Oh boy!
Thank you very much! It took me 450 attempts to make the mission 1 run look like that. Well the street and elevator anyway. Billy's video will be just as good if not better (in the beginning). Oh and that combo at 6:16 is an easy one, I mean, two commands no big deal. Takes a little timing but its easy, Now the one at 9:00 THAT one is a bit harder, especially if there are other enemies around! xp
In the training room I can finish that combo with a second Bison kick , a jumping back and a regular jump kick with the help of a wall. I hope in my next playthrough, I can do some of these combos in real time on the battlefield. Thats the dream anyway...

Yeah ha, Thats a bug I have to mention to Mauricio. Be careful when doing any Cancel Throws on or near the stairs. If he would have been the only enemy left, I wouldn't be able to move forward, so it can break the game. So I had to wait and lose my life to shake him off me.
sadly, that stage is bug hell, and it is difficult to prevent these ones from happening, because it is mostly due to the stage design itself. If you pay some attetion to the stage design itself you will see how complex this stage was designed for the coders to implement it, they never had in mind these kind of situations, or maybe the coders at that time didn't bither to include the conveyor belts and other elements due to this.
@@mauherrera8939 Bringing those conveyors back to power after 28 years of being down was a miracle! Don't worry about it, Its playable. In hind sight I probably shouldn't have recorded that in the playthrough, but I was so tired of retrying the run over and over again, I let it go.

I love the mk3 combos and sound effects. I seen him do sub-zero, jax, and scorpions combos. Guys running combo from final fight 3, Cody's jump kick, several mixtures of thunder hawks, jago's, and I think Orchids ultras from the 1st killer instinct. So nostalgic! I love all of it

Yes, it is indeed a real double dragon game, but due to living in an imperfect world, there will never be a port for the Nintendo switch. Or any other console for that matter. This is a fan game, made almost entirely by a single individual for a period of almost 15 years. It's Openbor, which is best experienced on PC. And being that it's a fan game is 100% free.

Lol! Yeah, it may be there to stay too. The developer can't seem to get it out. Be careful doing special throws near walls or on stairs.

Thats how I wrangle enemies. They move in a different pattern when you have your back to them. Typically they bunch together. Its not always guaranteed though. Jeff tends to just walk straight to you and attack, no matter whats going on. So when I shuffle around, I'm trying to direct the "traffic" to where I want it to go.

@@cxrgaming923 yeah ha Ha! Sometimes if I am in DD2 or 3 style, you will see me Crouch dance, after I do a cool combo or finish off an enemy in style. People typically do this in first person shooters and it's usually over the defeated person's head ha ha ha!

Now, all it needs is cut scene and good dialog and you will have yourself a pretty good double dragon game. Maybe two or three more stages. Lol when was the last you seen or herd someone use that term?
Hahaha. The cutscenes are done and ready to go. They were sprited by the legendary Koji Ogata, a former Technos employee that designed a lot of the original Double Dragon characters including the ones in SDD. There will be more stages. Mission 7 will split into 3 different routes you have to choose from. There will be hidden paths throughout the game in order to unlock Jeff, Sonny, and other secret characters. I'm sure I left the developers TH-cam channel link in the description. Mauricio Herrera is the man you need to sub to. The last video he made is a more updated dev build of the game. check it out. Oh yeah there is going to be A LOT more videos coming from me starting next year my friend.

So I downloaded the game and I can't seem to get my gamerpad to work with it. Is there something I'm missing?
Tell me what game pad you use and how it hooks up. If you're an Apple user I can't help you. If not, I'm not sure why your PC won't immediately recognize a controller.
Are you in the option screen at controls? If you're there press enter on any command and then press the right button on your controller it should sync up...
If you're not getting anything, you'll have to look to the internet for more advice on why your PC isn't picking up controllers.
My next piece of advice is download joy2key. In the game change the controls to specific keystrokes, and then in joy2key, set your controller commands to those keystrokes. Again your controller has to be recognized by your computer.
I use a Dualshock 4 controller and steam recognizes it. Steam takes control of the controller so to speak.
If you have a steam account try to use steam to find your controller. Then use joy2key.
I hope these things help you. Tell me if you get it working. If not tell me what you're experiencing and I'll see if I can continue to help.
@@nklopez56 hmm.. it's some generic PS3 style gamerpad I got off of Amazon. All I do is put it in the USB and my computer syncs to it. I've used it to play cuphead, sor remake, and dungeon fighter. It's a regular p.c. I have as well. Hmm I'll try the steam method u said and see if I have any luck. Thanks for answering so quickly. If I don't reply back rite away it's most likely cause I'm making dinner for my fiance and I. Thanks again. ☺️
@@flashfoward88 back in the day when I discovered MAME, I used a really old Logitech controller it didn't even have analog sticks. My computer recognized it so did Mame and so did the Openbor program for LOTDD and UDD.
When I built gaming PC, I used steam to help me find my PS4 controller, however it still found the old Logitech controller without the help of steam.
Before making a big leap and trying Steam, joy2key and other programs to put a middleman in your PC to find controller, just try all your USB slots first. The problem might be simpler than you think. PC Master race options come with PC Master race problems...🤗

Question am I able to play this on my android note 20? I have the game downloaded but I just don't know where to extract it or which emulator to use for my phone
Being that you said android, yes, you should be able to play. There is no emulation as this game was built on the Openbor engine. Look for it on Google or come to the Discord. I'm sure someone can help you there better than. I can I only play on PC.

@@nklopez56 yeap , in the past i have a super Nintendo with 2 joystick and the first stage i dont use Billy he stay static for the opponents so he down in the first stage , and i pass the game with jimmy xD

This looks bloated as fuck! A million moves in the space of a few seconds isn't fun.
Who said you had to play this way? You can play as simple as you want. Mauricio even made a character for it, the OG Dragon.
I like to play this way because I enjoy the vast moveset. I play this way to show everyone the potential they could reach if they practice. Which is part of any fighting game.
So I'm not sure what you expect me to say. There are simpler Double Dragon Mods, with smaller movesets. Go play those if you don't like this.
