An example of extreme Saudi Arabian hospitality. We were invited to visit a farm in the Al-Ahsa oasis by two complete strangers we met in a restaurant. What a fantastic experience to witness this lifestyle! The farm was like a true Garden of Eden with so many animals, plants, fruit and vegetables. This was a wonderful way to end our visit to Saudi Arabia and the Al-Ahsa oasis.
We were also treated to try Aseeda for the very first time by our kind couchsurfing host, Mohammed. This also includes a visit to Al-Qara mountain and the fanciest fruit juices we have ever tasted!

Thanks for watching! 😍
Very good, I didn't notice before.
@alsharafalrafia Yes, we had so many requests for Arabic subtitles, so we learnt how to put them on these videos. It takes a long time to do so, which is why they're only on the most-watched vlogs 🤗😊
Mashallah the people of Ahsa are truly living their lives in gardens
My neighbor is from Ahsa and he’s taking care of his garden all the time
Always smiling and enjoying life
Great people and you can tell how much they enjoy being connected to nature. ❤️. Once again we were overwhelmed with true Arabic hospitality. 🙏🙏

Thank you 🙏 The people we met there taught us much.
Welcome all love ❤🙏
Thank you so much 🙏🤗
you guys really went almost every where in saudi arabia more than me just staying in jeddah :) But if you get the chance next time you have to visit the south of Saudi Arabia, It's huge mountain ranges with so much greenery and very old building. It's my favorite place cause the closer you get to yemen the more beautiful nature gets.
Thank you so much for this advice. 🙏 Many people have said the same to us. The next time we visit Saudi Arabia we will definitely have the south on our itinerary. Thank you 🙏😊
I am looking forward to seeing Al Khobar city
That video is coming soon 😁🤗
Good morning! Another great video!
Thank you so much, MyDog! Apologies if we missed you at the Premiere... we did it an hour earlier than normal, so completely missed it! I felt so bad! ~ Mandy
It's shame to eat, Lee said 😂.
Is it from Vitamin shop?
Mandy is well knowledgeable in plants and animals 👍, I like that.
That was probably the most beautiful drink we have ever had 🤗😋 My parents were both raised on farms so I picked up a few things along the way 😁😃 ~ Mandy

Hi Mandy & Lee,
People you've met are friendly and willing to explain their culture.
Having someone to show you around really helps.
Them salad fruit cups were beautiful. I don't recall having ever seen fruits presented like that.
It won't be long before you hit the 20k subscribers, well deserved.
Wishing you both a lovely week, take care 😎
Thanks so much, Sergio. Not sure how I missed this.
It was yet another wonderful interaction with very kind local people.
I'm still dreaming about those fruit cups now. 😋😋
Hope you have a great weekend.

Love your vids. I appreciate how well you adapt to a new place. Glad you’re having fun. Safe travels and tons of smiles.
Thank you so much 🙏 The incredibly friendly people here make it very easy for visitors to adapt. Such lovely people. ❤️
Thanks for the fab vlog, again! x
Thanks Imo. 🙏 best wishes from us.
When we were in Bahrain, we have an acre of fruit trees of Chico (Chikoo in India or Sapodilla in English or Zapote in Spanish), Guavas and small sour apple trees called "Mansanitas", and we just eat it like that from the tree. Mansanitas were good as snacks or merienda after swimming in our pool. You can also make it into pickled mansanitas, just like pickled cucumbers or green mangos. Yum!!!
That is so wonderful. Thank you for this information. We have come across similar trees in South America. I wonder if they were introduced by the Portuguese or if they are native. 🤔
Great channel
Thank you 🙏😊
1. It's shame to eat, Lee said 😂.
Is it from Vitamin shop?
2. Mandy is well knowledgeable in plants and animals 👍, I like that.
3. Kuwaiti Aseeda without dates, they have a lot of dates in Ahsa but we are not.
Yes, Khaled, it really was a shame to eat such artwork but still very delicious.😋 From the vitamin shop, yes. Mandy grew up in the country and is very knowledgeable about animals. The dates are very special from this area. We hope you are well, Khaled and we send our regards. 💕
great couple roaming everywhere
maa shaa allah
Thank you 🙏 We love to explore new places and meet such wonderful people as this. 😁
Hello,I hoped that you would have a visit to the tourist city of Guatha and Mount Shu’bah in Al-Ahsa. I also hope that you enjoyed visiting Al-Ahsa in particular and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in general❤
Thank you so much. We visited a few places around Al Ahsa with our kind hosts. We were always very humbled by the kindness and generosity we were shown by people there. 🙏😊
@@FrugalTravellers Thank you for your humble response, I am very happy.

Oh err... 😉😊
How did the budget work out? Had you saved money from house sitting to cover this?
I expect lots of people (like me) are looking for a list of practical budget tips for Saudi Arabia.
The hospitality of the people must have helped? Eating from Supermarkets and food courts?
I'm a bit nervous about the things out of my control.
Your question is very good, and I want to help you with my simple information. Compared to it, the trip to Saudi Arabia depends on the person for how many days he stays in the city and whether he rents an upscale place or a cheap place. Services are also provided according to the apartments you choose. As for a Saudi person, he is a host. He will certainly not pay anything if you are with him. These are our customs and traditions of hospitality and generosity, and we acknowledge the visitor. I hope I have helped you, if only a little. I wish you a happy trip. One last piece of information, peace and blessings be upon you. You will never see anything like it in the world, and security in Saudi Arabia will be an experience you will never forget. Sorry for the long wait. I wish you a happy day.❤️
Hello Julie. Thank you for another excellent comment and question. We are planning to make a video showing a breakdown of costs in Saudi Arabia, and travel tips, so that will be out at some stage in the next few months.
We were completely overwhelmed by the amazing hospitality of our hosts in Saudi Arabia, with almost every meal and experience shown being gifted to us by our hosts, new friends and even a restaurant owner! I so recommend Couchsurfing in Saudi Arabia, as it is a truly amazing experience! ~ Mandy

Mandy, please stop Wowing .
Hahhha... I know, it's a bad habit! I do it to fill space and to show our hosts that we appreciate their kindness, and am working on just staying quiet and giving a big thumbs up instead 😁👍 ~ Mandy
😂 it is a wow!!!
@@FrugalTravellersnice ❤️ i hpe you in goy
I’m horrified how these people raise the goats in dark enclosures. That’s so cruel. They never get to see the day light. That makes their meet whiter.
Lol , relax I am from Saudi too we do this sometimes when the sun down so it protects the goats and sheep from other aggressive animals who eats them but when the sun is raised the keeper let the animals free to gain the benefits from the sun and eat good herbs
It was at night
As has already been stated by a previous comment, the animals are taken out during the day to graze, and are brought in at night.
There was so much more information we could have shared in the video but it was already fairly long so we had to leave quite a bit out.
@@FrugalTravellers thank you for the explanation
Almost most farms do that , my dad does that too. In the morning at 5 a.m., we open the gates, and they will roam until 6 pm and then we put them inside the room until morning . Usually ppl do that because they are afraid they will be in danger.
