Ive been watching college football for 45 years and Brock Bowers is one of the absolute best football players Ive ever seen.

Yeh Greg is really good in the booth and while Brady is a HOF *GOAT* QB, he is unproven commodity in the booth.

@@drew0513They drafted 1 rookie O-lineman. And he’s a backup tackle who will eventually play due to injuries, but it’s not like he’s expected to start the season. Also, a far cry from “old people and rookies”. AVT is going into his 4th season, Tippman his 2nd, and Simpson his 5th.

the jets are doing 3 practice scrimmages this summer which are arguably more important then pre season games , Rodgers will have lots of time to gel with the offensive line

“Jets o-line is old or rookies!” Literally not a single rookie on the starting o-line. Tippman is in his 2nd year and AVT was drafted in 2021. The confidence that Colin says completely false statements is staggering.

He never said about the Jets specifically.
Last year , He had rookies, busts, and washed up old men blocking for him.
They drafted a Tackle in the 1st round but idk if he'll start

2:51 all the way up to this point could not be said more plainly and could not be more true. Teams live and die by their own line and the coaches ability to design an effective system around what the o line is capable of doing the best.

I love how Cowherd just invents stuff to fit his narrative. He states that Olsen and Tony Gonzalez succeeded because they "put their hands on people." Gonzalez has gone on record to say he didn't like to block and it was never a big part of his game. In fact, he had issues with former OC Al Saunders when he wanted #88 to perform as an inline blocker.
And to mention blocking TE’s and not mention Jason Witten is silly.

If Jets beat the Raiders on SNF they would have been in the playoff picture until week 16/17 for the past two years. you get 12-13 games out of Rodgers and Tyron Smith they win 10-12 games. Casuals ignore how good this defense is and they were 7-4, a game out of first place in 2022.
I’m not sure about this “you only have two years” to figure out whether a quarterback can play or not.
Look at the resurgence of Jared Goff, for example. Or actually better examples include Baker Mayfield and Gino Smith. Both are playing for different teams than the one who drafted them. Both are greatly improved and serviceable starters, and Baker is playing brilliantly.
You obviously have to see progression. No doubt about that.
