      yeah he's OBVIOUSLY the right coach lol
      but that doesn't mean there isn't still a difference between aggressive coaching and stupid coaching, and too many times Campbell has pushed it into the territory of making complete bonehead decisions...... you can be very aggressive and take a lot of risks, that doesn't mean you have to take EVERY risk no matter what, and i hope he learns that sooner than later

    Campbell is a good coach. The onsides call was fine -- Detroit is literally dressing people off the street to play on defense and they weren't stopping Buffalo at all. He figured keeping the ball out of their hands was the only option.

    • @mattcarberry368
      @mattcarberry368 2 ชั่วโมงที่ผ่านมา

      ok if it was a good call or a smart game management move, then why didn't he onside kick sooner? why didn't he keep doing it the drive after? why did he say he regrets doing it?
      based on the Bills drives in that game, when they had to drive the field (starting at 30 yard line or less) they had a punt rate of 12.5%, a FG attempt rate of 37.5% (which still would have kept it a 2 TD game btw, everyone seems to ignore this incredibly crucial variable in their analysis of the game situation)
      while onside kicks are recovered at a 7% rate... *SEVEN* !!! ...yet people wanna tell me it was the right thing to do when even Campbell himself admits it wasn't lol 🤷‍♂ makes no sense

      I believe the team declaring the Onsides (Detroit) has to be trailing and it has to be in the second half. I could be wrong about it having to be in the second, but I am right about the team kicking has to be trailing. I am an Eagles Fan who also resides in Philadelphia (West Philly) and I think your coach (Detroit) is Fantastic, he’s getting absolutely everything he can out of the Lions! With that being said, I don’t think it’s in his best interest nor the team, to be as gutsy especially in the playoffs. Everything from now on I’m has to be EXTREMELY CALCULATED, due to attrition. Also you guys only played 2 games so far outside, respectfully I do think playing on turf field 90% of your games has affected your players injury wise.
      Good luck, so you in the playoffs!
      ~Eagles Fan!

      Because their talent wasn’t enough doesn’t mean they don’t understand how the game is played what information looks like and how to analytically view game footage.
      They just didn’t have overwhelming talent to do everything they can see in real time at a level that’s good enough.

      They always look decent during the season and then disappear during the post season, every single year. They're not a relevant franchise in terms of serious championship aspirations. Case in point, they went 13-4 two years ago, what happened? Daniel Jones beat them...Daniel Jones...he's not even on the team anymore.

    Expanding the season even more would be dumb. Most of the playoff teams are already decided with still a few weeks remaining. This season with Detroit's injuries and plenty of meaningless games at the end of the year shows exactly why expansion should not happen.

    • @mattcarberry368

      a 7% chance onside kick recovery vs (based on Buffalo's drives in that game) a 12.5% chance at forcing a punt if they made them drive the whole field, and a 37.5% chance at forcing a FG attempt which still would have kept it a 2 touchdown game with all their timeouts in hand and plenty of time to work with.... if you have THAT little trust in your defense, then just forfeit the game lol that's not aggressive coaching, that's coaching based on fear which never works
      and yeah, when you gift wrap teams free 5 yard TD drives for no reason, then you REALLY have to put up points lol

    I love you Colin. But you act and think like the chargers are it every year. Chargers can’t beat anyone as good as or better than them. They’ll always be a 1-2 games above or below .500. They’ll never win a playoff game or be a remote contending threat. And I even think Herbert is good. But he and they are soooo overrated. Cmon Colin. “Get it right. Don’t try to be right.”
