Thanks for this video. Must be 25 years since I visited fox field, must take the family sometime. My first visits, they started from a field next to the colliery and the incline. Bet not many of the current volunteers remember that.
Hey thanks for sharing your day out with us 😊 we’re glad you could get a ride on the Knotty coaches at last! And is t the miniature railway fun too? Hope you can come back for Knotty100 in July or see a colliery tour!
We had a great time thanks, it was our second visit having previously visited around 5 years ago. Big thank you to all the team for all their hard work in keeping the railway running. All the best Rick
the pacer has a special place in my heart as after many years of my father working as a British rail guard and after many rides and cab rides shared my final rail journey with him whilst he was working was on a regional railways liveried pacer end of an era even though they were awful , remember them being developed in the mid 70s promissed so much that they never delivered but none the less a huge part of railway history
Hi Shakey, yes they certainly did a much needed job and I wouldn't actually mine one on our layout. Interest that your Dad was a guard on British Rail as well, I bet the cab rides were a treat! All the best Rick
havent been that way for a few years, and the roaches haven't changed much the big rocks of sand stone on your right you'st to break off and roll across the main road and on down
Nice little heritage railway with great care and love by the volunteers, love it…
Cheers Danny

We rarely see a "full" video of journey to, chorus, verse, hooks and all to use a music metaphor. Really nicely done... Andy.
Hi Andy, we will do a few more of these at some point and Bobby does find them a lot more enjoyable! All the best Rick
Thanks for an interesting few hours in the country. Did I see a blue CIWL (Wagon Lits) coach in the siding?
Hi Kimball, it was an old coach painted to look like one but I'm not sure why. Thanks for watching Rick
i could never drive on the left side of the road, great show, nice views.
Thanks but I'm sure you would get used to it. 😀
Don’t live long,driving on right.

It's great scenery and so far we have avoided any Rick falls🤞
The loco with the pantograph is an English Electric type 3b
Thanks for the info. All the best Rick
bobby is such a cutie
And he knows it!🐕
Isn’t Bobby a cutie eh?
what was so bad about the pacer trains ?
Very uncomfortable due to then having 4 wheels rather than bogies. They are basically a Leyland bus modified to run on rails. Cheers Rick
