In my mid sixties now. When we kids in the mid-late sixties we owned a 55 Belvadere v8, we thought it was thee coolest car on the rd, and that V8 was still pulling away at 90 mph. Of course mum was'nt on the car, "don't tell your mother" But how thrilling! Over 50 years later, I still think it's one of the coolest cars as shown by this beauty. Thanks for sharing
Thanks for sharing your story. My first car was a ‘55 Savoy, however it was a coupe, flat head six with three on the tree. Sad to say it’s last ride was in a demolition derby in the early 1980’s.

Pretty Plymouth. 1955 styling by Virgil Exner was the first of “The Forward Look”. Sales were very strong that year. Thanks for showing this car.
