I love your Disney videos and look forward to them. I’m nearly 40 and it’s not a kiddie park despite what others might claim. It’s a spot that never fails to cheer me up and I call it my happy place. I’ve passed on that love to my kids, who are teens. One of my daughter’s friends said she was too old for Disney and I was a proud parent when she answered “you’re never too old for Disney.”
I don't. I find it awkward and disturbing that a grown man in his mid 40's would spend so much time at a kiddie park. I am the same age and I wouldn't be the least bit interested in that nonsense. Let alone spend half my life there.

My wife and I are Annual Passholders, and just recently visited Animal Kingdom and Epcot for our 7-year anniversary. It has plenty to offer for kids and grown ups alike. But I get it. This is a difference of opinion, and my saying that every word was wrong (a quote from Luke Skywalker) was simply facetiousness on my part. You have a right to your view! But I'll be over here on the side that views the Disney Parks as a place for all ages.

My wife and I did a Disney World Land/Sea package honeymoon 20 years ago this past August 2020. She passed away in December of 2020 and seeing some of the sites in WDW brings back some wonderful memories. Keep doing what you do Adam and I will keep watching and remembering.

I really liked the Earful Tower. Partly for the whimsical name and partly just the simplicity of it. I can certainly understand why they didn't keep using it as the park's main icon but wish they had found a place where it would still be at least somewhat highlighted for guests to enjoy.
I graduated from high school in Tampa in 1971. The opening of Disney World was such a monumental event for all of Florida. Although DW opened in the fall after I graduated, some of my friends who graduated in 1972 took part in opening festivities with the school band and still talk about it. In my senior yearbook my friend Beth is pictured wearing a Mickey Mouse shirt in anticipation of the opening. I also had 2 classmates who went to work at one of the resorts as tennis pros. I am excited for the 50th anniversary coming up-wish I was still in Florida!
