Although not as directly, I see this pattern (Men/wo-men, Question, bring out, goes out, convince, urge, rescue ) as also possibly recurring in several other places: The Garden, Abraham & Isaac, Abraham & The angel of the Lord, Jacob and the angel of the Lord, and ultimately Jesus (as you mentioned).
Perhaps it is a recurring theme throughout history:
- "Men" (Every human ...Adam=man/woman),
- The "Question" of Identity (Son of God, or selfish beast),
- Request to "bring out" (choose which side you're on),
- The choice / action of "going out",
- "Convince/Urge" (Call to repentance),
- "Rescue" (by hand - Matt 3:2) before Judgement.
Interesting. It would fit well with the idea that every story is retelling the big story. Thanks for sharing!

"TWO MEN arrive a Rahab's HOUSE, and the King of Jericho comes and tells her to BRING THEM OUT. The armies of Israel ENCOMPASS Jericho like the men of Sodom encompass Lot's house. Later, the two men get Rahab, her mother, father and brothers and BRING THEM OUT. Not sure what other parallels there are.

No, I just try to read the text attentively and look for patterns.
How was Lots daughters actually Virgins When they had husbands. Maybe Lot was lying about them being Virgins
There is also the possibility that Lot had more daughters than the two who left Sodom with him and his wife.
I dont believe these men were Angels (messengers) from Heaven. These are Men messengers like John the Baptist was called in Malachi 3:1. Flesh and bone born of a woman. I understand they blinded the people however Moses was also a Messenger of God who did these kinds of things with the plagues through the Father. I believe (Messengers) Angels are only spirits with no flesh or bone. Luke 24:39 And of the angels he saith, Who maketh his angels spirits, and his ministers a flame of fire. Lot was with actual real men (messengers) of God.
