I'm pretty new to WoW, so I dont understand what you mean with Ret doesnt scale well... And what do you mean exactly with antisynergy? Can you explain in baby terms? Oh and also, can you tell me how good the new hero talents for the new expansion are looking? Thank you and greetings from Germany :)
its because our prefered stat is versatility that while it does give damage its at a lower value then the others, on top of that we get reduced value from other things like critical strike because we already get 100% from some spells and also free crit from our wings cooldown and some talents cant even crit like divine arbiter but dont let that scare you ret does a ton of damage regardless, the new hero talents are both looking great herald of the sun looks like a great big aoe setup and templar is the more single target and small cleave, thx for the support
How much does it matter to have the legendary as weapon? Like can I perform good enough without it? Have heard a few times that the legendary is essential to be able to perform well...
@@jonoxis its a significant loss between 6-7% overall damage in m+ with a normal mythic weapon and about 4-5% loss with "ashkandur fall of the brotherhood" if the dungeon is full of humanoids, so yeah your damage will be lower but you can preform good enough without it to get all the rewards in the game just maybe not the tittle
its very strong in keys procs often sometimes one after another, also helps a lot when i dont have cooldowns since alone its like a 25% damage boost, im thinking ill go for anvil for tyranical weeks and whispering icon for fortified weeks, the only thing about anvil is that since i pug a lot its a bit unreliable sometimes because of random deaths and pull speed
As we go into diminishing returns of most of our prefered stats, things like mastery will become better so at the end we will be using all stats, at the start of the patch most of the time higher ilvl will be better
Sadly you just have to kill fyrakk when hes available and hope you get it thats all we know for now and its a shame because new players just returning have very little chance to get it they have to implement some kind of catchup or make it so every end raid boss can drop the legendary and give the bad luck protection
Top tier AOE dmg, decent single target, stun, interrupt, aoe interrupt, good utilities, super tanky, there is literally no reason not to play ret in s4, is one if not the best melee in the game atm with Rogue and DH and to top all that its easy to learn and master
Paladin is the one class i always loved the fantasy and vibe of - but i think his gameplay feels the worst in the game. I said it. None of the abilities feel good, rotation is pathetic and it just feels wrong. Go play DK and make yourself a favour
You dont need a PHD to do the rotation like most classes, thats most important to me

even without legendary weapon worth it? stopped somewhere in s3 and "bad luck protection" didnt work for my ret.

I didn't see any changes to how it drops so apparently still the same sucky drop rates.
