Love how your soaps are, as you say, “simple”. Many content creators make complicated (and very pretty) soaps, but they are just not practical for me. Your down-to-earth style and wisdom from years of soap making are invaluable!
Dear Elly, I had already gone to cold process soap making classes before I watched your videos. But, I learned so much more about cold process soapmaking from you than from those classes. Thank you Elly 💜🙏😊
Hi. This is the first time I am writing a public comment on TH-cam for any video. Firstly what caught my attention to your channel were the topics! they are very relatable ones, if someone plans to start a business. Your channel can be the go-to channel. You have covered in detail, step-by-step process, giving attention to minute things like 'how to store the soap' etc. and yet so simple to understand. Really appreciate the efforts that you have put in to make the videos. I am not sure if online courses cover so much detailing too :D. Thank you so much ❤️😊
Thank you so much, that's really wonderful feedback. I'll be doing much more work with this channel in 2021, and will also set up a website - I hope it can be a great resource for many years to come.
You have helped me so much getting my soap business started. Now I am almost making 40 to 50 lbs of soap 3-4 times a week. Also, I have started selling at few of the local farmer's market. I still get nervous discounting the water. This video was very helpful, since this year in California has been very dry and humid. I noticed you mentioned you went to India, can you do a video on what items you purchased there for your soap supplies. thanks you
Oh my God, I intended to ask a question about the topic of the method of storing and preserving soap, and I watched this wonderful video and got the answer. Thanks for sharing this video
Hi Elly, We , (I and my daughters - 13 and 15 years old) ran into your soap making videos and we were so hooked up. You give us inspiration to make soaps as gifts for coming holidays. My daughters also told me that they would like to have a home biz selling soap to save up for their future University tuitions. I am so grateful for your very informative instructions through which I feel your kindness and sweetness as well as your quirkiness. LOL... My daughters said :" Mom, finally we found someone that's as quirky as you!".Lol. Have a wonderful day Elly!
you are great, so wise Elly, this video has helped me a lot... you are so detailed explaining. Thank you very much for sharing your expertise. I love your recipes simple and beautiful soaps
Thank you so much Ellly for your video and being so generous with the information you share. I'm 60 years old and I have recently decided to learn how to make soap, and I seriously was just thinking about how soap making would work in Hawaii; I was concerned about the humidity since we don't have air conditioning. You answered all my questions and then some! ❤
Wow this video has answers to my questions...coz I also live in a veeeryyy humid country, I live in Indonesia and it is a tropical country..and I do see those little dehumidifier in any supermarkets...thank you so much for sharing
Thanks Elly! I somehow missed this video, but now that I've seen it, you have so many questions for me! I also live in the sub tropics, and the humidity has been a huge challenge! thank you!
Thank you so much.. being nowadays home bound, and away from my profession, I picked up soap making , and became an addict.. your instruction were an excellent motivating push to build up this new hobby …🙏
I found this so useful for someone who also lives in Brisbane, I am new to making soap and now I know exactly what I can do and what to look out for. Thank you for your detailed explanation.
I was so happy to find your video today . I have started experimenting with soap making and recently discovered an Ayurvedic Tradtional Indian soap .The ingredients made a lot 😄 Now I needed to know the best way to store them . Thanks to your wonderful informative video ,I got all my answers . I live in Goa India , very hot and humid . Thank 🙏🙂
Thanks so much Elly! ⚘I love and appreciate your videos.♥️ I'm just so hugely inspired each time. I had a video chat just this morning with my daughter. Turns out her husband wants to make soap to. Maybe I can share some of your invaluable soap making knowledge with him. Waiting for my Lye to be delivered due to being in lockdown. Exciting and many thanks again x
Hi Elly Love from Bali Indonesia, TH-cam recommended your video this morning 😍 I subscribed immediately- love how you describe your process of making your soup. Glad TH-cam recommended your Chanel - truly!
Another great tip, in Italy now the weather is hot and humid, as a matter of fact, soap I made in June and stored in a cuboard are wet. So I'll follow your tip. I was told they needed ti be stored in a dark Place. Thanks so much. You're so humble in explaining. Comgratulation.
Thanks for the great tips! I live in Guatemala, a tropical, hot and humid country! And I have dust around. I was wondering what to do with my soaps! Cheers!
This is such good information, and I love that you've also explained the reasons why you do things the way they're done - I'm just starting out, and you've already answered so many questions that have been just rolling around in my poor little head. Thank you so very much! 💗
I’m so glad to have found your channel! I have just been to a soap making course and am looking forward to making soap for family and friends. Living in Townsville NQ it’s great to have information with an Australian twist.
Thank you Elly. My first try and the soap I made for my family was brilliant. Your videos are simple, easy to understand, lots of good information, very honest and helpful. You are kind as well to share so easily.

I've got some really cool soap recipe videos planned for the next few months. This weekend I'm filming a liquid soap recipe tutorial!! :)
@@EllysEverydaySoapMaking thank you for the response. I truly was not expecting it so fast. Your videos are great. I look forward to searching on the ones I missed. Keep up the good work. Oh, by the way do you sale your soaps? Thank you
Thanks Paulette, I try to respond to comments every day :) No, I don't sell my soaps, just for friends and family at the moment. Thank you again! I really appreciate the support.
Hi Elly, you are my inspiration. I really love and appreciate your work. M getting lots of information and knowledge from you, since last month I have been practicing and making soaps, all thanks to you. Just need to know after keeping the soap wrapped around the towel for 12 hours, I can see some round dotted spots on the soap, don't know what went wrong, please do share your experience, thank you. Best wishes and regards from India.
Thanks Roshni, that could be a few things - undissolved lye, some other ingredient. Check the pH of your soap after a few days - if it tests ok it will be fine to use :)
Thank you sharing this. It is really helpful. I live in India at a hill station and monsoon here is wild. All my soaps starts sweating. I learned a lot. Thank you :)
I just started a small soap business and still learning everyday. And was wondering a couple of days ago that not many peeps from tropical countries share their knowledge on this content. Most of people stay in cold region. Anyway just wanted to share my thought. Again, thank you with gratitude 🙏🏼
Thank you, you're very welcome. I have been to hill stations in India so I can imagine your conditions! You're very welcome. I felt it was time someone shared some tips for subtropics, tropical and other humid climates. Good luck with your business!
Hello Elly-friend, I just learn and learn and learn from you! You’re such a Star! I hope that life is good with you and yours and that all is well. My family, friends and I send you warm and happy thoughts multiple times a day every day because we’re using soaps that I make from your recipes. So much fun to think of all the good connection juju going your way from my peeps in my native England and from me and my peeps in the US (I married an American) and all the way back to us all via your soap! That was quite a sentence but I think you’ll get it! 😆. Take care, and lots of love and good juju coming your way! 😍😎
Ah thank you Jill! You are so lovely. All of your peeps are lucky to have you! I appreciate your juju, whatever that is haha! I am well, but it's a busy period with work. Looking forward to a break and more time next year!
Again Elly super informative video. I could listen to your voice all day. Do you have a problem with dust in the first couple of weeks on the racks? Also would I just leave it drying in the garage with Melbourne's weather? Thank you again.
Thank you, no I don't have any issues with dust, but if you're worried you could cover them with a very light cotton cloth or similar. Yes I think your garage would be fine :)
Wow extremely helpful! 😊 Now I know why I see homemade glycerin (melt and pour type) soaps in plastic, but these types of fatty soaps in boxes or some kind of paper.
Hi Elly 👋 Thank you again for such informative explanations in regards to soap caring techniques, i am thoroughly enjoying learning from you, btw thank goodness for Kmart and bunnings 🙂 big hugs take care from me in New Zealand 🇳🇿😊🤗
Thank you Rachel, I appreciate your feedback. I have plenty more soap making videos in my playlist for that subject - have you checked them out yet? th-cam.com/play/PLMq0_yjUn5Ouf7X_BNMtMHAa4yWeJpk9c.html I will be uploading soap making videos quite regularly in the months to come :)
Hi. Thank u so much for sharing just great info. Believe me i also live in a tropical climate and my soaps have become greasy due to humidity. Calcium chloride is not available like you showed its packaging. 1). Can i use silicon gel packets (easily available) instead of it? 2). Plz make a video on how to anchor fragrance oil in cp soaps for the long time? Normally, fragrance does fade away after sometime or completing insulation period, as i have noticed in my soaps. Thank U & Stay Blessed :-)
Hi, no the silica gel packets wont work well enough. I would just keep your soap in an airy place and consider a different recipe if your soaps are too soft. Coconut oil soap like this one is great for hot/humid climates th-cam.com/video/yZbAfgwEkJs/w-d-xo.html
Thank you for your excellent videos. I'm just starting out (total beginner) and find your explanations so easy to follow. Also I'm from Brisbane so all of your climate recommendations thankfully I don't need to do a 'brain convert' :). Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge.
Elly thank you for sharing such value information . Where I live the weather is hot and humid almost year around. I keep my cured soaps on a rack in the leaving room where there is good ventilation (have no other place to put them). Does Natural light ( no direct sunlight just the light coming through the windows) and artificial light may spoill the soaps as my livingroom is quite bright? Thank you in advance for your reply.😊
Just wondering as I’ve been watching many videos on soap making. Why do some people put their soap in the fridge to cure over night and some wrap in towels and blankets? I have not made any soap yet I want to learn as much as I can before I start ! Thank you! I love your videos!!
This video will explain th-cam.com/video/pl7ONfaWPWE/w-d-xo.html Basically, some people like their soap gelled, and some don't! (I am in the former category, reasons why given in the video)
Thank you so much Elly. I will have to find something for curing process. Yesterday i started my first batch with your Castile soap recipe. I didn’t want to invest so much and my friend said that I don’t need to buy a stick blender , so I tried with the hand whisk and it took so long time as you said in the video. So that I ordered one from online. I can’t wait to use it with the next batch! Fingers cross! I hope it works!
You're welcome! If there's one thing that you really do need, it's the stick blender! You certainly don't need fancy moulds or racks or anything else, but without the blender soaps often separate and need re-blending/mixing. My stick blender that I've been using for 6 years now cost me $12 from kmart - a cheap one is all you need!
Hello Elly. As I am checking how is the first batch going during being set in the mold. It’s been 48 hours already, i could notice that it is set, ivory white color but it is still soft (with gently pressing on the surface by point finger) I could sneak peak on sides of silicone mold , I found no oil separation. I kept them covered in the blanket and put in the box (I saw other soap maker put in the foam box). I am quite sure that it is not ready to be cut. I thought that it probably be about the room temperature I keep where is too hot? I am afraid that it will be melt or the batter would not be developed. Please advise Elly.
Hello! Your videos are really helpful for people like me who are new to soap making. Just a question, I live in a tropical country. can I use my spare powder room/restroom as a curing room? My area is just small and I’m torn where to cure my soap. If outside, I might use a customized rack with screen to keep it safe from particles outside.
Hi, I really like your videos and I love how detailed you explain everything. I have one question and maybe someone could answer me that. In the country I'm living in, we don't really have dehumidifiers to buy. Germany has some pretty mean streaks of heat and humidity but they are so rare, it's mostly a week each year that could be a problem...so I'm looking for a rather quick and cheap solution. Would rice work? Like pouring dry rice into a drawer and place the soap within the rice?
Hi Ailean, great question! If you rarely have hot and humid weather, I would just store your soap on racks in the open. A week here or there won't negatively affect your soap. And your house will smell wonderful! That first few days can be a bit strong, but after that it's great.
Elly, first off, you are amazing and this was such a great video. I do have a question though. I live in a very dry climate that sees extremely hot summers and very frigid winters (Canada). Would storing my soap on the racks until selling time be acceptable? Or would you recommend doing the shelving idea like you did? Thanks you much!
Thanks Aria, in a dry climate you can do either option! I would keep them in the open air for a few weeks, and if your cupboards are nice and dry then you could store them there (or in containers) to help the scent last better.
Elly's Everyday Hi Elly, you are amazing, so I have the same concern, I can’t keep my soaps in open air since it’s to cold to have my windows open, what you thing if I keep my soap in the furnace room? Or there I have another room but is very cold that room !
Hi Elly. I'm new to soap making. I was wondering if you teach a class on soap making? How did you start your business? Why did you close your business? I'm watching a lot of soap making videos, but I think a more formal class would get me started in the right direction. Thanks! Alabama soaper.
Thank you Davane, I appreciate your suggestion! Tumeric soap is lovely - you can just add the dried powder to any soap recipe :) I will put that one on my video list though!
Hi Elly, I just wanted to say I Love your channel! Soap and bread are the two things I have been wanting to learn for a while now and you have made me feel a little better about trying it. I also like the really natural ingredients you use and your positive vibe. I have watched your introductory type soap videos and I was just wondering how you went with the rectangular silicon mould after a while and whether it is worth investing in. what are the easiest moulds to use? I have some of those bamboo Kmart boxes already so I will most likely try those when I get some time. I am also in the Brisbane Area and would love some advise on the best places to buy ingredients from. I looked up the bayside soaps but I noticed they were out of a lot of ingredients. May just be the aftermath of the pandemic. Thanks again for your TH-cam channel.
Hi, nice to hear from you! I love the silicone moulds, but my kmart ones with the non-stick baking paper liner are a favourite too. Both are relatively easy to use. I buy my oils from the supermarket if I can get them, my specialty oils I get from Escentials of Australia, I get most of my essential oils from them too. There are other suppliers around, many of which I'm probably not aware of because I have a good stock of EO's and don't make lots of soap too often. I would google the ingredients you're after and add 'brisbane' and see what comes up. The soap making facebook groups are a good help here too. Thanks for your feedback, I really appreciate it! :)
Nice! Thanks for that, Elly. I always keep silica gel packets and use them. Have a nice weekend! (I saw that guitar next to your curing cupboard, do you play?)
Hello Elly thanks so much for all your videos! I also live in a tropical humid place and cant seem to find a good recepie for this weather, any recomendations? I usually use castor, shae, olive and coconut. Would really really appreciate your answer, thanks !
Yes, very helpful, Elly. Thank you. I live in a humid climate (Hawaii) also, so I’m a bit concerned about curing. How long do you leave your new soaps on the racks in your laundry room? I have an open air carport maybe I can use. It is sheltered from the rain, but there’s a lot of air flow and things get dusty. Is the salt air a problem for you? Thank you again. 👍🏼💞🧼
Hi Elly I store my soap in my basement, it's very dry and cool. However, my first bach of soap has no fragrance at all. What could be the cause, and can it be fixed? I love all your videos. You are a wonderful teacher.
You can just wipe them with a damp cloth maybe? I would cover them though if they are going to get dusty. A fine cotton cloth would be ok. Prevention is best!
Hi Elly, love your videos. It made me confident that I can make soap😊. I have a question my husband has severe psoriasis and I read that pine tar is good to add in. What's your opinion and have you ever used pine tar. I have watch several videos them making soap using pine tar. the mixture turns out real stiff.
Hi Sylvia, thank you for your nice feedback, I appreciate that. I was interested in pine tar soap when I first started, but I could never find a product to use here in Australia that I was satisfied would be good for skin (most of them made for horses hooves and had other ingredients). I have no idea about what the scientific research says about the use of pine tar soap for psoriasis, but if you're looking for a gentle soap that seems to work quite well with sensitive and troubled skin, then I'd be giving a plain castile soap a try before anything else. This is my recipe for that here th-cam.com/video/MzDZts9hjKw/w-d-xo.html I hope that helps a bit!
Thank you for sharing your videos… I have all of the supplies that I need for making soaps … my question is I realize you’re going over a lot of good ideas but my only option is out of the house because I do so many other things in my house that every room is taking up like one is a painting room one is a room that I use to store eBay listings, one I use to store Etsy items that I make and I have no more rooms left in my house …I even already use up my hallway and my dining area LOL….however I do have a storage building that is a 10 x 20 that I also use for storing Glass Ceramic and Porcelain items …it has the double doors in front and no windows, in the summertime it gets hot in there as it would a closed up car meaning probably 120 130° would I be able to put them on racks and store them in the storage building to cure ???
@@EllysEverydaySoapMaking ok thank you… I may have to do some rearranging inside lol… As I’m typing out my comment to you I just had an idea on what to do lol… Thanks if I wasn’t typing this out right now I would’ve never thought of the idea that just popped in my head LOL… Thank you again for replying and blessed be
Hi Ma'am, it was very informative. I liked your racks and cupboard shelves. That mini humidifier was something very new to me. Ma'am not only the water content but the saturated and unsaturated oil ratios also play a role in the curation period right? whenever I make facial soaps with low S:US it takes long time to cure . If the S:US is like 50 : 46 or 60 : 35 ...soap hardens fast and feel like curation over and ready to pack. So I tweak my recipes accordingly and now I do not face any problem with the hardness. May be I am wrong Ma'am. Have you ever felt so? Just curious to know your knowledge about it. Glad to see your video again. Please upload soap making videos. Stay blessed. Regards, Bindhu Yellow Rose Homemade Soaps
Yes, you are right! I didn't mention that because all of my soaps are high in unsaturated oils - they are typically quite soft soap types (olive oil based mainly). Thanks for your input.
Thanks for the reply Ma'am. Earlier my soaps were like that with lots of UnSat oils. As you said in the video as per the weather conditions nature of the soap changes. My soaps are going to India mostly. There it was not favorable so I had to change my recipe like ....added more coconut oil to make it little more harder. Thank you Ma'am. Stay blessed.
I LOVE 'simple' soaps and I just don't get the trend of soaps in the shape of food and with crazy tops...that is surely uncomfortable to use in the shower, however attractive some may say they are. We are experiencing extremely humid days in Eastern Cape, South Africa...your low water recipe is perfect for our weather

Vos vidéo sont très très intéressantes, j'ai appris de vous pas mal d'astuces je vous remercie beaucoup pour le partage 🤗
Hallo Elly. Thanks a lot for these tips. Do you have a video about making soap as a business
Thanks Noel - I just filmed one on that subject this morning wiht my friend George from Dawn Organics! Should have it up by next weekend :)
Thanks Elly It’s really worthy to watch you every time.👍🏼
Oh thank you Sarita :)
Just the information I needed. Thank you so much for putting it out on TH-cam. ❤
You're welcome Cheryl, thank you.
Thank you for all your soap knowledge so very helpful for this beginner
You are just amazing. I really like your videos. They are simply to understand.
Greetings from Portugal
Looking forward to a break and more time next year!
very helpful. Now that I know how many mistakes I've made!
This is so good to know. Thank you Elly, you're the best!!!!!!!!!!!
Aww, thank you. You're very welcome!
Lovely you are Elly..I use shoe rack that looks like basket having holes in it. Thanks for sharing your ideas 😊
Thank you Juliet, the shoe rack is a great idea!
Elly i just love your videos! Thank you so much! God bless you for what you share and give!
Thanks so much!
Thank you so much! You always explained very well and yes, I learned a lot with this video, you're so kind Elly, keep it up❤️
Wow extremely helpful! 😊 Now I know why I see homemade glycerin (melt and pour type) soaps in plastic, but these types of fatty soaps in boxes or some kind of paper.
I wish I could give you multiple thumbs up for this single video. It helped me so much. THANKS!
Thank you so much, I'm glad to hear that! :)
I was just watching your video I think it will help me a lot
Thank you Elly - this video has answered alot of questions - thoroughly enjoyed it
Thank you!
Thank you so much for all the information , you have answered all my questions.
Hi Elly 👋
Thank you again for such informative explanations in regards to soap caring techniques, i am thoroughly enjoying learning from you, btw thank goodness for Kmart and bunnings 🙂 big hugs take care from me in New Zealand 🇳🇿😊🤗
Thank you Brenda, I'm so pleased to hear that! Always lovely to hear from my NZ neighbours :)
Elly i love that your soaps are simple. it just means its easier for us Assies to find the ingredience.and my skin thanks u also.🙃
Thank you Donna, I appreciate that :)
Hi Elly, really enjoyed this video. I’ve just started to make my own soaps and found this video really helpful. Hope to see more!
Thank you Rachel, I appreciate your feedback. I have plenty more soap making videos in my playlist for that subject - have you checked them out yet? th-cam.com/play/PLMq0_yjUn5Ouf7X_BNMtMHAa4yWeJpk9c.html
I will be uploading soap making videos quite regularly in the months to come :)
Thank you Elly for sharing your great tips xxx
No worries Roz!
That's great to hear Kim, thanks!
Thanks for the advice im wondering why my soap bars were sweating
Oh u r really super fast in responding thanks lots... tats really informative....
You're welcome.
You are amazing. Is it okay if there is direct sunlight to the newly make soap?
Thank you. It's better if you can keep your soap out of the light. Any colours or scents will fade if you put them in sunlight.
Natural light may fade your soap colours, but apart from that it shouldn't hurt. I've never experimented with that.
@@EllysEverydaySoapMaking Thank you.
Just wondering as I’ve been watching many videos on soap making. Why do some people put their soap in the fridge to cure over night and some wrap in towels and blankets? I have not made any soap yet I want to learn as much as I can before I start ! Thank you! I love your videos!!
This video will explain th-cam.com/video/pl7ONfaWPWE/w-d-xo.html
Basically, some people like their soap gelled, and some don't!
Thank you so much! I am just starting to make soaps and your videos are very helpful. I enjoy watching them!
Thank you, that's great! You're very welcome :)
@@EllysEverydaySoapMaking Thank you for your answer! I'll try that out next summer then.
I really enjoy every video you do.And thank you for answering my coconut oil soap screw up , 😆
Hi Elly. I'm new to soap making. I was wondering if you teach a class on soap making? How did you start your business? Why did you close your business? I'm watching a lot of soap making videos, but I think a more formal class would get me started in the right direction. Thanks! Alabama soaper.
Interesting !
When Can i wrap my soap?
Hi Elly I enjoy watching your videos very informative thanks for teaching us. I would love to see you make Turmeric soap... Thanks in advance.
Thank you Davane, I appreciate your suggestion! Tumeric soap is lovely - you can just add the dried powder to any soap recipe :)
I will put that one on my video list though!
Elly thank you so much for your videos and all the info you share! im so excited to start making my own soap :)
Wonderful! Good luck!
Thanks Elly. That gives me some good places to start.
Thank you for this video Elly! I have just made my first batch of soap. It has beef tallow in it. When should I slice it into bars?
As soon as it's hard enough to cut :)
Nice! Thanks for that, Elly.
I always keep silica gel packets and use them.
Have a nice weekend!
(I saw that guitar next to your curing cupboard, do you play?)
Fantastic, thanks Phil! Yes silica gel works, but only for a time. They need to be dried again to be re-used. Better than nothing though!
Hello Elly thanks so much for all your videos! I also live in a tropical humid place and cant seem to find a good recepie for this weather, any recomendations? I usually use castor, shae, olive and coconut. Would really really appreciate your answer, thanks !
This video will help th-cam.com/video/V-uDPifp3n0/w-d-xo.html
Yes, very helpful, Elly. Thank you. I live in a humid climate (Hawaii) also, so I’m a bit concerned about curing. How long do you leave your new soaps on the racks in your laundry room? I have an open air carport maybe I can use. It is sheltered from the rain, but there’s a lot of air flow and things get dusty. Is the salt air a problem for you? Thank you again. 👍🏼💞🧼
Hi Bonnie, I think a few days in the open air is enough, but maybe somewhere a little more sheltered might be better? Salt air shouldn't be a problem.
Hi Elly I store my soap in my basement, it's very dry and cool. However, my first bach of soap has no fragrance at all. What could be the cause, and can it be fixed? I love all your videos. You are a wonderful teacher.
Thanks Carmen. It's probably the EO or FO you used.
Well, here in Brasília, the new capital, the weather is hot and dry most of the year. In winter is cold and dry.
Perfect conditions for curing soap then!
Thank you Elly your videos have helped me so far 💕.... The weather here is dusty and humid, my soaps become dusty after curing how can I clean them?
You can just wipe them with a damp cloth maybe? I would cover them though if they are going to get dusty. A fine cotton cloth would be ok. Prevention is best!
Thank you so much, this is very helpful....stay safe.
Very detailed and very practical ❤ thank you
You’re welcome 😊
September 20, 2024 - only seen this video today. I love your storage not so sure if I can find one here in the Philippines 🥰🥰🥰
Love the video, great advice!! Great channel!!!
Thanks so much!
Thank you for sharing your videos… I have all of the supplies that I need for making soaps …
my question is I realize you’re going over a lot of good ideas but my only option is out of the house because I do so many other things in my house that every room is taking up like one is a painting room one is a room that I use to store eBay listings, one I use to store Etsy items that I make and I have no more rooms left in my house …I even already use up my hallway and my dining area LOL….however I do have a storage building that is a 10 x 20 that I also use for storing Glass Ceramic and Porcelain items …it has the double doors in front and no windows, in the summertime it gets hot in there as it would a closed up car meaning probably 120 130° would I be able to put them on racks and store them in the storage building to cure ???
Hi, I think that would be too hot. You might promote rancidity in the soap/spoilage. Cool and dry is the best if you can find the space :)
@@EllysEverydaySoapMaking ok thank you…
I may have to do some rearranging inside lol…
As I’m typing out my comment to you I just had an idea on what to do lol…
Thanks if I wasn’t typing this out right now I would’ve never thought of the idea that just popped in my head LOL…
Thank you again for replying and blessed be
Hi Ma'am, it was very informative. Regards,
Bindhu
Yellow Rose Homemade Soaps
Yes, you are right! I didn't mention that because all of my soaps are high in unsaturated oils - they are typically quite soft soap types (olive oil based mainly). Thanks for your input.
Thanks for the reply Ma'am. Earlier my soaps were like that with lots of UnSat oils. As you said in the video as per the weather conditions nature of the soap changes. My soaps are going to India mostly. There it was not favorable so I had to change my recipe like ....added more coconut oil to make it little more harder. Thank you Ma'am. Stay blessed.
Thanks for the information. Really useful for us 😊
You're welcome :)
That's so wonderful to hear. Thank you :)
Can you please show how you plastic wrap your soaps to counteract high humidity? Thanks
