LEGO McLaren F1 car set # 76919 Build and Review

I build the first of the March 2024 wave of Speed Champions, the 2023 McLaren F1 car. It's a vast improvement over the Mercedes model, especially in the nose and front wing.
There is a huge number of new parts developed for the 2024 range of cars and Lego designers have made great use of them in the sets I have built so far this year, this one is no exception, so i have included a bit a look add them all for this set.

There is another one coming in June as part of a Aston Martin double pack. If you're a F1 lego fan, you've hit the jackpot this year.

Fantastic, looking forward to seeing it. Wishing for another icons sized set as well, fingers crossed.
I still need to finish my McLaren 1:24 scale moc as well.

Great review! I just built this on the weekend and loved it too! They got some really good shaping on the sides and the new wheels are amazing. This feels like a nice upgrade to the Mercedes W14 from last year

Totally agree, big improvement but without all the new parts it’s not possible so there is that

The middle support for the Halo looks to be to much in front. Would be nicer if the front of the Halo actually rested on it.

I like the way they did it compared to the Mercedes, less bulky, but your right

@@speedybrick looking at the box art, unless it’s the angle, it does look the front of the halo is resting on the support. Maybe the halo bit shouldn’t be push so far into the rear support.
Will be building mine today or tomorrow so I’ll definitely check. It just floating looks off.

could you perhaps compare this to the RASTAR RB19? i want to see if they are close to scale
