700$ for the Crosshair Hero? That can't be right.. The Crosshair Hero used to be a 300$ board. I think you might be confusing it with the Crosshair Formula.
Edit: It's 460 euro in The Netherlands, so there is no way that price of 700$ is right.

As a reviewer, You should point out winner in every price performance category. Not just say that "make your own decisions" at the end of the video. You should analyze your data and say what motherboard is worth the money and what is not. For example the most expensive motherboard (800+ euros) in this list (Aorus Extreme) was totally under performing when compared to Asus Prime X570-pro (240 euro). Ofcourse the Prime lacked Wifi-6 and 10Gbit eth. But You can buy them separetly and doing so, they dont cost extra +600 euros when compared to Extreme motherboard.

I don't see anything in your written reviews or this video about the differences in the chipset cooling (other than that the Extreme is passive). But: how are the different fans in noise levels? Does it help that MSIs supposedly stop when not under load, do any of the other ones do this? I really would like to know how the boards differentiate in this regard (if at all) cause if there is a big noise difference this may be a determining factor for me since there doesn't really seem to be one as far as performance goes. Thanks!

Doing my first PC build this summer and am thinking about that X570 Taichi. From what I heard the PCIE 4th gen doesn’t make that much of a difference since you’re able to get out the same performance out of the X470s but I’m honestly getting it for the USB 3.2, Thunderbolt, Purity sound, WiFi 6 and Bluetooth 5.0. Plus it looks a lot more appealing.
Pricing is the only thing that’s gonna kill me since it’s $300, but hopefully they will make deals with the new Ryzen 3000 and have some kind of bundle. Since it’s also expensive, I’m gonna wait for more reviews to come in and see if it’s worth getting before I murder my wallet lol

Do you think the mobo could power a high end audiophile headphone like Argon MK3 ? I know it needs a desktop amp, but maybe a mobo of that price could make it sound decent at least, hmmm. Also someone in here told me the memory is not Daisy Chain but T-topology, is it true ? I agree with you it may be expensive, but I could forget it as it's a piece of art, so mesmerizing lol. I wanted the X570 Asus Stryx F, but after Buildzoid's video about it I'm not so sure anymore, but I guess I'd be fine either way with a Ryzen 3700X stock. Purity sounds like the Dac is better on the mobo, pretty cool for headphone, yeah awaiting reviews I guess.

I purchased a meg ace board with a 3900x and gskill trident z neo 3600. stock shes hella fast. but when i overclock it, the benchmarks are dramatically improved. im not talking 1 or 2%. i'm talking more around 10 to 15% improvements on score. In some cases even higher. It seem's to me, the same board 10x all run different. and i noticed every time the machine is reformatted and installed windows it runs different. score may be better, scores maybe worse. as crazy as that sounds it's true. I been building these machines now for just over 25yrs now. Also I want to mention to everyone. take online benchmarks with a grain of salt, because I noticed real world (as i call them) benchmarks seem to be dramticaly different than what we see online. for instance. I play the division 2 in 1440p with all eye candy maxed out on a msi monitor with 144mhz freesync using a evga 980ti classified card getting 146fps, YET, online benchmarks show a 2080ti card in 1440p with all eyecandy maxed out getting 120/140fps. how can this be? It's been for many many yrs now I noticed online benchmarks were never and I mean ever matching real life benchmarks of my experience. my current cpuz score is 8781 points. online scores show a 3900x gets around mid 82 to 8300ish. so why so different? I just thought I would share with you all my experiences. as far as the boards go. I think if you want features. asus always packs them in. but if your looking for pure performance then msi always delivered for me. the x570 meg ace board is one hell of a board.

The X stands for Extreme, Every Board with its X570 Chipset is gona allow even the best CPU of its gen to work with them. Also those boards have unique features the B series lack in. The only real question about the boards is, what extra features do you want on em. Of course OC is a big factor too, but for those people who just gona overclock it with water and air dont have to worry about this. Its irrelevant.

I have an Asrock X470 Taichi with a 2700X. Very stable, air cooled stock, works fine. I WAS aimed at a 570 board, but the reason to switch was mainly a middling bios (2.0). Otherwise it was fine. Today I updated the bios to 3.43 to buy myself some time before deciding on a new mb, as I think the 3700X looked great. But, surprise, the new Asrock bios is much better than the old ones. Cleaner, better organized, etc. It recognized the 3200 ram right off, got the timings right, and adjusted itself on first boot. So near term plan NOW is a cpu upgrade to a 3900X, no OC, wraith prism, and wait and see how the world shakes out.
