Thami articulates this in such a well rounded and empathetic manner.Mad respect to him as someone who has been through it and still recovering from the impact mentally.
Having read Yuval Noah Harari's book sequel a few years ago, I was left shaking at his mention of the emergence of a "useless class" because of AI. He suggested that this is a class of people who would not be able to up skill themselves quickly enough (because of family responsibilities, money, time, etc.) to participate in the economy. It's frightening, but we just have to adapt.
Watching this as I’m at a crossroads with having to quit my current job or stay because of fear. I’m stuck and it hurts💔 I, too, work in the finance industry
I watched this in the AM's and I rewatched just to let everything sink in Money conversations are not easy but necessary and sobering. I was ready to throw hands about stockvels 🤨🤨but only because I'm a member of so many.
