I thought i was the only one that lived this song and I'm finding out reading this thread that this song was something special. Wish it would have went farther. Brad Delp lives on in this song.
I bought this cd when it came out solely based on the greatness of this track. Brad's vocals are exemplary as usual & the song itself is absolutely fantastic! No idea how they got lost in the shuffle,even w/the onslaught of hip hop & crappy Top 40 pablum! There will only be a handful of voices that will be consensus hallmarks & pillars of music that stand the test of time; Plant,Jagger,Mercury,Lennon,McCartney,Steve Perry...Brad Delp stands right alongside all of them!
People who say end of story after making a statement are people who only want to have their opinion heard and ignore everything that doesn't agree with you. But I like RTZ but I mean it ur going to make a statement then you should have the balls to take whatever comments are coming, don't say end of story like a pussy to try and stop people from debating it with you.
I saw RTZ at Rocky Point Park in RI I think in 1986. Didn't realize how great I was seeing, I was 17 I think. I realize it now and highly respect RTZ and Boston music. What a great time.
I first heard this song performed by Barry Goudreau's newest band a couple years ago, and damn I fell in love with this tune. All the surviving members of RTZ are awesome to meet in person. Met them 6 times.
I was lucky enough to meet Mr. Delp at a Beatlejuice performance at Johnny D's. He was nicer to me than most of my family has ever been 8) - you just got this feeling of genuine sweetness from the guy just from how he looked at you, and I only talked to him for 30 seconds, and only said all that stupid crap that fans say to celebrities. I really hate that he's gone, it's the kind of thing that makes you wish you could do something for people who are suffering.
Saw them at a local club back in 92 or so....VIP seat and sat back and listened to a great concert..especially when they broke out the Boston songs...RIP Brad...you were a great contribution to rock and roll and are surely missed!

It’s crazy that this was only 15 years removed form More Than A Feeling and Boston’s landmark debut. Even at 40 it feels like Brad was still getting going and his voice was stronger than ever. RIP
With a voice like that and the great personality that he had, i still can't believe that he ended his own life so tragically. I just wish that he found help with his demons and not got rid of them by ending his own life. He will be forever missed. RIP Brad.

As great as Boston was, sometimes you really don't realize someone's talent until you hear a song like this. I think a lot of Boston's music sounded very similar, and hearing Brad sing "outside the box" really showcases his talent. What a great voice.
Harmonies that just make you close your eyes and feel the good things from those long lost loves from so many years ago. You know...that twinge of sadness but that happiness that you experienced love and in some moment it was the best feeling you ever had.

Back in '92 I had a regular 900-mile, 14-hr drive up Interstate 95 back home on holidays. It was brutal. But I absolutely LIVED for that moment my radio picked up Washington DC reception (DC101 are they still around?) because I swear they always had this song playing as I drove through. It was like my signal that I'm almost home. Thank you, Mr. Delp, for giving us this.

I was in college, I was in love with this girl, which is true even today, I used to listen to this song. Everytime I hear it, I see her face. She's happily married now with 2 lovely kids. I didn't have the strength to pursue her, sadly.
