The balcony is unnecessarily large. They could have added an extra bedroom or two. But nonetheless great tour by Nina

I guess not in Vancouver but in places that have nice weather that patio is a definite selling feature.
Adding more room(s) would have probably double the price though... compared to what you get in Vancouver, this is a cheap price!
Yea 1350 sq is not that big for a penthouse. If the condo is in LA or Las Vegas or anywhere with nice warm weather all year around then yes it make sense. But in Canada you usually can only enjoy the balcony for about 3-4 months (excluding rainy and windy days) out of the year, it’s not a very good use of space.
All this outdoor space would only be useful for max 3 months out of 12 per year, hey this is Burnaby, not Phuket! Who would invest so much money turning it great when most of the time it's wet and miserable??
I have always felt Vancouver houses and condos are over priced , but this one is just perfect

It’s expensive AF. I grew up two blocks from here and can’t afford to live in any of these. They’ve gentrified the hell out of this neighbourhood and Vancouver generally is the summer home for rich Hong Kong families (look up what Hong Kong looks like, it’s basically Vancouver but so much cheaper for them, so that’s why they like it so much)
I thought Burnaby was considered its own city and separate from Vancouver
@@anamihajlovic8710 if you compare other big cities, Vancouver is still generally pretty affordable in the condo market. In Hong Kong and LA and NYC just to name some of the highly sought cities the prices are double if not triple the prices compared here. Hence the reason why we are slowly catching up and watch the pricing continue to rise as Vancouver is highly demand city in terms of living. Buy now because these prices will continue to rise in value as land becomes more dense and scarce.
@@colebp6411 It is but it is still in the Metro Vancouver area. So you won't see much of a difference. They're literally right next to each other.

Absolutely GORGEOUS! And so dysfunctional. What do you need to do when shuffling hot things around in/out of your oven? You need to put them down somewhere nearby on a heat-proof surface. Oops, Forgot that. And... you're not going to stand at your sink doing dishes to enjoy the view. You have a dishwasher for that. Too bad the rangetop, where you are likely to hang out, is facing the wall instead of the view. Plus, hope nobody is trying sleep in the second bedroom when I'm up at 6:00 AM making coffee 5 steps away in the kitchen.
Wouldn't you love to be able to look at the fantastic views from bed in your master bedroom? Too bad you are looking at your closets instead. And too bad no-one thought to build covering over any portions of the EXTENSIVE outdoor spaces. Oh well, it never rains in Burnaby.
Top to bottom designed for magazine (and video) appeal instead of owner enjoyment and functionality. What a shame.

Wow, something like this might actually be nicer than a house and cheaper too! The two large balconies makes it feel like you have a yard and theres more privacy than when in a house. Definitely making me want to get an apartment instead of a house.
That's bc houses are the worst way to live suburbia is a utopian discrase to urban design

I felt like it was a real rush in terms of seeing the bathroom upstairs. I couldn’t even see the shower. Also it left me wondering where the washer and dryer were. Obviously a beautiful penthouse apartment and I think it is priced right.
I believe the washer and dryer are upstairs by the principal bedroom. The bathroom maybe was a little quick, but we were trying to get to the best part. That MASSIVE terrace

Amazing value. A few days ago I watched a video for a Harlem NY penthouse (I think it only qualified as a PH by dint of it being on the top of the building) and it was maybe a quarter the size of this, two bedrooms but one was about the size of a shoebox, rubbish kitchen, tiny terrace and views of nothing for $2m. Great walkaround by a charismatic, informative host.

Great price for a penthouse. Definitely a penthouse like this will easily go for $4-5M range in NYC easily. Have to move to Vancouver as condos appears to be very affordable there.
NYC is pretty expensive from what we see.
Keep in mind this is in Burnaby not Vancouver . But the equivalent condo in Vancouver will probably be 2-3 x more expensive
@@winstonwinston3487 True but Burnaby is the next sought out city to live in besides Vancouver. In Brentwood or Metrotown, 3 bed condos are going around minimum $1.3M and up so for a Penthouse that is a steal in my opinion. Our prices are still very attractive compared to other cities in the World and this will continue to rise.

Upstairs could of been a lot bigger I don’t know but to me that’s a lot of wasted space .
