This is the first of two action-lead films from our time in Cologne. This one is fast whereas the other is more chilled.
It took 3 weeks, we drove over 4,000 miles and visited 8 countries but we did it! Daniel Ilabaca travelled across Europe to meet Parkour and Freerunning communities in London, Amsterdam, Cologne, Copenhagen, Vienna, Milan, Barcelona and Paris.
In each city we met and trained with the locals, did a bit of filming and then ended the day with a massive jam.
We filmed every step of the journey and over the next few months we'll be showing you what happened.
And all this happened because the nice people behind 'Brink' supported us. Check out Brink at www.brinkthegam...

I am glad I watched these videos today. I am at a crossroads and this has helped me realise what I really want from life.
I am 25 and I have been training parkour for a year. I am too late to develop my skills to this level but I will have fun trying. I have just said goodbye to my 80 hour a week career. It`s over. All I need is enough money to eat and enough time to train.
    Thanks.

i love how precise his turns on the rails are anyone who says parkour is not an art is blind or undereducated,
also parkour tour thankyou for sponsoring danny to be able to do this and being so responsive to the parkour community

This is one of the best editings I ever see, this really puts my definition of art of movement in a clean perfective of results from it.
Anyway, Scott its a practicioner he knows how to shoot and what's the best in parkour, hand down to Scott too.

The original song is christofori's dream, by David lanz, but this is a remix. :) fits the video quite well. Background story: Christofori is the guy that invented the piano. He had a dream to build an instrument like never before seen, to go past what man had done, and surpass his limits as a harpsichord maker. Dreams are the blueprints to the future. Great video. :)

Dont underestimate the value of good shoes for Parkour. You're right that the hypothatical perfect traceur should be able to succeed everything with every shoe but especially for beginners training with bad or even damaged shoes can easily become dangerous.

@STLhero09 Dude, Daniel Ilabaca is not a god. He is an amazing guy, who decided one day that he wanted to push his body to the limit, and he still hasn't and is still learning like all of us. He isn't a master, and is still a student. Live your life, and focus on who you are, and who you can be, rather than wishing you were someone else :)

@mraaronyuppy weights is not what you want bro, the only weight you should use is your own body weight, running is great but excessive for long periods will wear out your cartilage, and possibly cause shin splints with heavy impacts. cyclling is best for cardio fitness, lean strong endurance muscle and very low injury possibility.
also recommend you redirect your weights classes to gymnastics classes to get the feel for spinning and rolling ^_^
