This sounds really awesome, man! I totally think the art is worth still working on, but if you don't want to have the art element you could switch gears and make it a webnovel. This would work really well as a Progression Fantasy and/or a LitRPG. Do you know about Royal Road? You could find an audience for this story there :)

healing mage using their spells offensively is such a good idea I wish I came up with it
In the old Warcraft games healing spells dealt damage to undead enemies, and undead "healing" spells dealt damage to living enemies.
