Thank you. I never learned from my Mom and I was afraid I would break the metal shuttle if I forced it to open to remove the bobbin. I had absolutely no clue how I was supposed to load the bobbin with thread. I will have to do a marathon session on your videos on how to Tatt 👍🏼
The "tail" (end opposite of the hook end) of the metal shuttle, is used for winding the bobbin. Snap the bobbin onto the tail, then hold the thread end against the body of the shuttle, then wind thread into bobbin.

Tip for bobbin: (if it works: it did for me anyways)use the bobbin winder on your sewing machine.
