it’s probably not healthy that i’ve been falling asleep every night for the past month listening to their murder podcasts but peyton’s voice is so soothing
I love how she sets the scene by listing current events from that time, it makes it a little more personal and puts you in the mindset of the time period. love these vids 💓
Oh, yes! The 80ies was my decade as a young adult. I'm Norwegian, but the neon colors, big hair, glam rock and massive shoulder pads was all the rage all over Europe, too!
Out of all the things that should have triggered me in this episode, why was it Peyton's pronunciation of Coppola 💀😅😂 lmao tomatoe tomato 🍅 great episode 👏
It's my birthday today and this episode was like a surprise gift lol! thanks for all of the great podcasts, you guys have kept me company through the whole year and I'm happy to call myself a mwmh fan 🎉❤️
I literally love you guys as a duo - it works so well ❤ Ive only discovered you a few weeks ago, but it means I've been able to BINGE watch. I often struggle with duos or more as my brain struggles when i hear people talking over each other and one of them getting louder ect, but you guys are so respectfull of eachother and the case. Great work.
Hey guys! I went to SLC Utah this past week! Monday I watched y’all’s podcast and heard about your billboard, when my boyfriend and I started our drive back home to Texas we saw it! I literally jumped up in down in the passenger seat, I was so happy! Congrats to y’all doing so well and making such an impact on the true crime community! I love listening to y’all!
I’m so glad to find your alls podcast. I love true crime. I’ve been on disability for the past 4 years and these year has been the worst coming up on 10 years diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis and so far your my favorite true crime podcast and I’m in the process of going back to listen to your past podcast. Keep up the good work you both are great.
Hey y'all, i found this channel here recently. Im really starting to love you guys. You guys are much younger than me (50s) so im cuttjng y'all some slack on how you pronounced Coppola. Its like Cope-a-la. Much love from southern Indiana ♥️
Thank you! She does this a LOT but I always correct her as I watch and have a good laugh.. 😂 I always wait for Garrett to correct her, but it never happens.. he's just waiting to hear the words "security cameras" 😂😅
Love you guys! You do an amazing job with the time line. Great setup. You've become my favorite murder pod cast. I relate with the way you empathize for the victims & their families and you go above to research various things to explain in depth and ensure everyone fully understands the setting.
I don’t think it was the Son of Sam theory because if Liz was just there by chance, how would the Son of Sam be able to tell his fellow inmate about two murders weeks before it happened? How would he know that she would be there?
That is such a good point. I think that the lady that was raped and filmed might have gotten them killed as nothing happened to any of the people that hurt her and whoever went in to kill them was looking for the video of her rape.
My mom and her sisters grew up in nyc and had to spend all day in their house because their mom, my grandma, was so afraid they were going to get killed by the Son of Sam
this doesn't really matter but I am almost positive that CDs didn't come out or get popular until 1983, a few years later. nonetheless, it doesn't matter lol. that's a minuscule detail in this entire video lol. but just had to point that out!!! :)
It’s so weird to hear all these places I grew up near…kinda cool but also creepy 😂 funny how nassau is a suburbs of NYC but it’s truly just like a small town
I've spent the last 2 years debunking The Ultimate Evil and stories like this. Sisman's murder had absolutely nothing to do with Son of Sam. David Berkowitz was not in a cult and he did all the murders alone. Sisman was a completely different case and was only brought into it because of the terrible methodology of Maury Terry.
True. Manny is correct. Maury Terry attempted to connect many unsolved murders to the Son of Sam case without any evidence at all. Roy Radin was killed over a movie deal gone bad. Maury Terry even tried to link the Manson case to the Son of Sam. We’ve found out it was all fabricated to sell a book.
youre really invested into discrediting the cult connections. you have to comment on every single son of sam related video. are you getting paid to debunk The Ultimate Evil?
happy monday everybody!! I would love seeing you guys do a episode on Kim Wall case the submarine murder pleaseeee look it up I’m dying to see Garets reaction listen it.❤
On July 27th 1981 Adam Walsh who is 6 years old is kidnapped from a store in Hollywood Florida….. mtv… Metallica.. needless to say 1981 was overall a good time… seriously fun time. WHHHAAATTT
Still about 10 years early for CD players may be Walkman tape players but cd’s are not even thought of yet . To be young and not even know when CD players came about
First off I want to say I love all your podcasts, but this one, the emphasis for the name Coppola was on the wrong syllable and it made me cringe just a little bit. COP-pola. Please don't hate me! Lol
19:29 I just want to say last time I visited Long Island, I went to the Hamptons to check it out and it was surprisingly underwhelming. I was not impressed by the houses at all.
hey guys new to the Chanel i got a Netflix series suggestion for you guys that im sure youll like its called mindhunters based on true story about how the fbi started studying serial killer and how they think and all
I was 16 years old when this happened! Wow that was forever ago! And Halloween night I would’ve gone trick of treating with my friend, Donna and my younger sister, Kristina. I remember I we were walking around so long and so far that I asked this one couple ( they were friends of Donna’s parents) if I could use their bathroom. Their toilet and sink fixtures were gold plated! Oh and I NEVER wore neon. God that was an annoying trend! Edit: I’m with Garrett I don’t see the cult thing being real. What I wouldn’t doubt is that those people who raped Melonie probably knew Ron had filmed them doing some shady, despicable stuff ( like a gang r**e or even a murder - even accidental ) and they wanted it hushed up. I’m sure Epstein’s friends would do away with people if they can ( or haven’t already).
Co pa la, he directed a ton of movies that’s Nicolas Cages father and yes he owns that vineyard. They are a very wealthy Italian family. He directed The Godfather saga notably
There’s a lot more to the Son of Sam murderer. He specifically killed blonde hair blue eyed women I believe. Also NYC and LA are connected when discussing movie, tv, modeling industry. A lot that happens in both places are related.
Can you guys please cover the adnan syed case and the Gregory green case I’ve been asking for so long and adman’s case is one I believe the convicted person to be. Innocent
it’s probably not healthy that i’ve been falling asleep every night for the past month listening to their murder podcasts but peyton’s voice is so soothing
SAME OMG
Same ❤
SAME. My boyfriend would definitely say that both you and I, and everyone like us are definitely mentally unwell. 🙃😆
Same I thought I was the only one 😂 my bf thinks I'm so weird listening to murder while i go to sleep😂
I do this and scary stories and I'm pretty sure it's why my anxiety is so off the charts

I don’t think it was the Son of Sam theory because if Liz was just there by chance, how would the Son of Sam be able to tell his fellow inmate about two murders weeks before it happened? How would he know that she would be there?
You are correct. The story was a made up lie by Maury Terry. It never happened like this. Sisman had nothing at all to do with SOS.
That is such a good point.
I think that the lady that was raped and filmed might have gotten them killed as nothing happened to any of the people that hurt her and whoever went in to kill them was looking for the video of her rape.

Yes, Ron couldn't have been involved with David, he was a loser and Ronald wouldn't have had anything to do with him.
I absolutely love your videos
i missed you guys !!!❤
It's Francis Ford Co-pa-la
What do i do when i have heard/watched most of your videos? I tried to find your first episode but no luck

Greetings from Saint Augustine Florida.
Still about 10 years early for CD players may be Walkman tape players but cd’s are not even thought of yet . To be young and not even know when CD players came about
I came to comment about that. We were still debating over vhs and beta
Thank you! I was looking for this comment cuz I was like I can’t be the ONLY one that heard that. I said what?! Wasn’t no CD players in 1981! Lmao!
Listening from the Philippines at 3am! 🥳
I was sleeping and all I could here was Payton telling a story 😂😮
Hear*
I’m so confused sad that this case is unsolved
Oh I wonder what the announcement is…. My guess is she is pregnant. When I was pregnant my husband ate like crazy. Maybe I’m wrong but. Love you guys
aren’t you happy halloween falls on a monday ☺️
was expecting a big twist for it to be the photography business partner tbh
I think it was mob related. Which would then be money and drug related? The execution style, the ID's gone and the never getting caught..
First off I want to say I love all your podcasts, but this one, the emphasis for the name Coppola was on the wrong syllable and it made me cringe just a little bit. COP-pola. Please don't hate me! Lol
CD player’s were released in 1982 and they were huge and costed around $900. 😉
Yeah, they didn’t become popular til MUCH later.
Omg I’ve overeaten cheezits too and it’s terrible. I got so nauseous too and it was so sad because cheezits are so delicious
That's how I feel about Bueno candy, I'm obsessed lol
Mondays are for Murder With My Husband Podcast 🙌🏼
My goal is to stop on the freeway and get a picture by the billboard!! 🖤
I’m so confused that I don’t know what to do! 😩
Their getting their own show on ID guys

19:29 I just want to say last time I visited Long Island, I went to the Hamptons to check it out and it was surprisingly underwhelming. I was not impressed by the houses at all.
Maybe it was a different story in the '80s
Berkowitz didn’t claim he shot Stacey, but another member of the cult.
*stares down at my empty box of Cheez-Its in shame...
Put the cheezeitz in a bowl Garret 😂

that actress who was violated by both of them probably doesn't mind that they're gonzo.
There's a theorie out there that it was either the neighbor or the sons and not Berkowitz
Just a crazy case and Son of Sam connections was crazy. Though I highly doubt he has anything to do with it.
You are correct. SIsman and SOS are in no way connected.
I also just watched a video on how Francis Ford Coppola held the Director of jeepers creepers escape child pedophilia crimes

Sadly, when you said the police had been at the drug/sex parties this case would never be solved. Cover up 4 sure.
Garret showing off the dawgs for free

And I was 9 and tricker treating. Lol
Watched a doc on HBO max I think about a reporter who became obsessed with the son of Sam and the cult and the many shooters, and the snuff film.
All fake news. There was no cult. Maury Terry was a lying hack.
Woooop🎉❤
Can you time stamp when you start the story? I don't care about "10" seconds
it's an integral part of the podcast. if you don't like it, that's your choice, but it's your job to skip past it then or deal with it
Hi ,what is a cheese it.

It's a tangy cheese flavored cracker

you should look into crime weeklys podcast about adnans case. mwmh is an ok podcast but true crime podcast has in depth episodes.
What if it was a murder for hire by the model and the killers were looking for the film that she says was made when she was molested at the party
There is an interesting article about how Roy Radin was an occult leader and how he was potentially linked to David Berkowitz.
FYI I stopped the vid when Payton said Roy Radin to make my comment lol Should have just kept playing! ☺
Ronald Reagan was early 80s neon was late 87,88
