I am European from France 🇫🇷. My dad is french and my mother is Nepali. I respect multiculturalism & big supporter of liberalism. Just like my country France 🇫🇷.
No doubt, Jews community and Indian/Hindus community both are most persecuted community & faced multiple Genocides in past centuries. 🙏
Btw, this temple is so beautiful :)

Service is seva. The term seva is also widely used to denote rituals/ceremonies... especially in Vaishnav Temples. For example : Suprabhata Seva..

I admire your open-mindedness when visiting these beautiful places and being able to feel the sacred even though you are of a different faith practice. I was amazed at the size of the Hindu temple and in Texas of all places! Beautiful!

Thank you, John! Yes, it was quite large, especially considering the surrounding grounds and pools of water. :) When you walk inside of the temple, there are a few different spaces you pass through until you reach the innermost area where the ceremony occurred. Compared to a Catholic cathedral or other large worship halls, the area where the ceremony occurred in the Hindu temple itself was actually quite small and intimate. It felt quite personal there. And yes, the grounds and the temple were beautiful! :) Thanks for joining us on our journey!

Not really - Hinduism is the Warrior Faith, for the strong
Life is tough, difficult and so religions have created magic Retirement homes in the sky where people think they can run away & hide from Real life
Hinduism, with Reincarnation, is asking us to not run away, we are not Cowards, we are the Warriors - let us face life and make the world a better place

Watch documentary of Hindu deities worshipped in Japan. India was a cultural superpower with Hindu Shahi Kingdoms from modern day Afghanisthan to Indonesia. Then Islamic invasions began from India's west. Hinduism is basically karma ideology, accepts different representations of Gods. Have faith or no faith. No pressure, No infighting. Buddhism was brought forward by King turned Saint Gautam Buddha in Bihar India. Buddhism truly is religion of peace. Do mindfulness Buddhist training. It's good.

What a unique concept of a TH-cam series!!
And this kind of journey ( visiting different religious worship places) is a Hindu Way of doing things…you can see this in Bollywood movies too when Hero, along with his girlfriend or wife, visits all the religious places.
The religious harmony and asimilation of different point views about Gods, some times opposite views too, is one of the many characteristics that I liked about Hinduism or more rightly Sanatana Dharma.

Hinduism is all about your journey towards Bhagwan in your own terms. We grew up with Samskaras to make sure we don't hurt anyone around us while we complete the cycle of our life and embark onto the next cycle. There is nothing that bounds you, it actually sets you free with little guidelines (Samskaras). These teachings are there so that you don't hurt yourself or others while you seek the truth...

WHAT IS SPECIAL ABOUT BEING A HINDU?
    By Francois Gautier.
Diversity in Divinity and Unity in Spirituality.
    1) Believe in God ! - Aastik - Accepted
    2) Don't believe in God ! - You're accepted as Nastik
    3) You want to worship idols - please go ahead. You are a murti pujak.
    4) You dont want to worship idols - no problem. You can focus on Nirguna Brahman.
    5) You want to criticise something in our religion. Come forward. We are logical. Nyaya, Tarka etc. are core Hindu schools.
    6) You want to accept beliefs as it is. Most welcome. Please go ahead with it.
    7) You want to start your journey by reading Bhagvad Gita - Sure !
    8) You want to start your journey by reading Upanishads - Go ahead.
    9) You want to start your journey by reading Purana - Be my guest.
    10) You just don't like reading Puranas or other books. No problem my dear. Go by Bhakti tradition . ( bhakti- devotion)
    11) You don't like idea of Bhakti ! No problem. Do your Karma. Be a karmayogi.
    12) You want to enjoy life. Very good. No problem at all. This is Charvaka Philosophy.
    13) You want to abstain from all the enjoyment of life & find God - jai ho ! Be a Sadhu, an ascetic !
    14) You don't like the concept of God. You believe in Nature only - Welcome. (Trees are our friends and Prakriti or nature is worthy of worship).
    15) You believe in one God or Supreme Energy. Superb! Follow Advaita philosophy
    16) You want a Guru. Go ahead. Receive gyaan.
    17) You don't want a Guru.. Help yourself ! Meditate, Study !
    18) You believe in Female energy ! Shakti is worshipped.
    19) You believe that every human being is equal. Yeah! You're awesome, come on let's celebrate Hinduism!
"Vasudhaiva kutumbakam" (the world is a family)
    20) You don't have time to celebrate the festival.
Don't worry. One more festival is coming! There are multiple festivals every single day of the year.
    21) You are a working person. Don't have time for religion. Its okay. You will still be a Hindu.
    22) You like to go to temples. Devotion is loved.
    23) You don't like to go to temples - no problem. You are still a Hindu!
    24) You know that Hinduism ☺ is a way of life, with considerable freedom.
    25) You believe that everything has God in it. So you worship your mother, father, guru, tree, River, Prani-matra, Earth, Universe!
    26) And If you don't believe that everything has GOD in it - No problems. Respect your viewpoint.
    27) "Sarve jana sukhino bhavantu " (May you all live happily)
You represent this! You're free to choose, my dear Hindu!
This is exactly the essence of Hinduism, all inclusive .. That is why it has withstood the test of time inspite of repeated onslaught both from within and outside, and assimilated every good aspects from everything . That is why it is eternal !!!
There is a saying in Rigveda , the first book ever known to mankind which depicts the Hinduism philosophy in a Nutshell -" Ano bhadrah Krathavo Yanthu Vishwathah"- Let the knowledge come to us from every direction "

The reason why you feel connected is to do with the way the structure is made there is no structural steel in the building the stone is grounded to the earth and what is special about ancient Hindu architecture is that the building itself invokes the spirit to dive into deeper contemplation. There are a few precious metals put at the bottom of the main shrines aligned with the Shikaharas (pinnacles or spires) further there are precious metals right underneath the Murtis (deities) and as you go towards the top of the building the Pinnacles have a golden kalasha again a precious metal. The domes are designed in a way to bring good thoughts to anyone who sits under them from all around. The structure itself is a machine that channels positive thoughts into anyone who sits inside. Finally the soul of the temple are the deities and once you are charged with all the positive energy it's easy to then feel connected to God. Such a beautiful Mandir! Want to visit it one day!

Female were sitting in back ???
In my experience in most of temple female and male sit in either left and right side of hall , I have never visited a temple were male were sitting front and female were in at back🤔 we either sit as whole family or either left side female or right side male and vice versa.

Yes, same here. I find that odd too there's segregation of male or female here but yes I remember when young it was something like males on left or right but generally after the pujas or worship the community just mingles, talk, me running around playfully with the other kids, enjoying the food. There'll be small games too like carrom, wow, I don't know if they even play this but then this is America, mostly English people reached there first or maybe Spanish people, I don't know so the kids growing up there from other communities kinda need to adjust to western lifestyle too.

I have never seen such separation. If you are visiting together you sit together also.

In Swaminarayan Mandir, the women sit on the left side and men sit on the right half of the hall. Not together or one bend the other. Each religious group has a tradition as a spiritual discipline and is never questioned.

Thank you for an unbiased view. If you get a chance, walk around the temple perimeter, there are stories engraved with care in both vertical and horizontal directions.
