Mixing is like adjusting the levels and using other effects to make the song sound well on each sounds, like drums bass leads chords. Mastering is like giving the song it's final touch by making it loud enough and also doing some other stuff.

These are just the basic stuff. My advice would be to try every effect and turn knobs randomly to see what it does. In this way, you can learn them creatively
One thing I wanted to ask, u said here that u generally keep the ratio at 2:5:1 . So doesn't ratio in compression vary from song to song Or u just keep it fixed at 2:5:1
Of course it depends upon song to song, but generally 2:5:1 works for me. It's like slight compression. However, if your sound is very dynamic, you can use ratios as high as 10:0:1. So in the end, it just depends on the sound

you added compression,limiter, Graphic EQ ... distortion all in a mixing part and does again to next process mastering do we need to add those compression... EQ if not what's the process next to mastering remained ?
