To those doubting the weather, I live close enough to the launch site to see it in launch into the sky and it's thundering here so it totally makes sense why they cancelled it
It's cancelled or postponed for another day? If postponed, did they state the new expected launch date?
I live there too. If i look outside my window i can see the launch into the sky if there would have been one. But hopefully tomorrow then!

Brilliant strategy building the space center in high humidity thunderstorm Florida.
Could've built it in dry Arizona, Nevada, New Mexico, but no it had to be in Florida. Really smart.

I was excited to see this but also, good call on the part of NASA and SpaceX. The Challenger wouldn’t have blown up if it had launched in warmer weather or just replacing the rubber seals that failed. This is a decision based on learning from history. Obviously a let down but better than having the next catastrophe that could have been avoided.

Next time, start watching when they're scheduled to begin the 20 minute countdown, like I did by watching at 4:15PM MST, rather than when the stream started. I only had to watch for 4 minutes before it was cancelled.
