FULLY get your CVT serviced when due. Not just change the N3 fluid, but the cartridge filter as well. Proper maintenance of the fluid is important to keep the CVT in working order. I think people that treat these CVTs like normal geared auto transmissions are more likely to end up with a failed CVT. If everybody did these inspections and followed the service intervals, there would probably be fewer CVT failures.

Put me in the pre 2025 style column. I have a 2020 and it’s solid and functional. I don’t like the current interior design trends in cars. They say it’s more spacious but it looks cheap to me.

Great video. I’m leasing a 21 murrano and looking to lease the 25. After watching this video I’m not sold on the 25. Smaller engine, rims and to top it off there’s no spare tire. I’ll stick with my 21. Thanks for the input.

@Hewitts_Cross agreed. Nissan here charge $550 tax In for just the fluid change in the cvt. Seems expensive. I know the filter abd gasket are less than 50$. Guessing nissan will want 850$ to do a filter and gasket and fill

I have a 2023 Murano SV Midnight Edition. I absolutely love it!! One of the things that caught my attention, was the bold v-motion grill in the front!! It's my favorite feature. For me it's a statement piece for the Nissan brand. I don't particularly like the new grill for the 2025. I know Nissan is trying to modernize the body type, but the front end is not very attractive to me. With the emboldened v-motion grill people couldn't help but see you coming.

I have a 2018 Platinum. Considering the 2025. But I sure like my 3.5L V6. I'm not a fan of the 21" wheels on the 25. I also like the chrome on my 2018. I also like the fact that the older one has fog lights. I also have a CD player. Lots of reasons to choose the 2024.

I have a 2016 Murano and test drove the 2025 this weekend. Like others have commented, I'm not a fan of the new front end. Not crazy about the new back end either. To me this looks like a Kia now. Regardless, I've test drove other vehicles only to get in my old one and say this is so much smoother and more comfortable. First, if you switch from the old to the new carefully consider what you put in the cargo area and measure. The rear opening high is an inch shorter. I also think it's length is functionally less despite measuring longer because of the more aggressive slant. Sitting in it is less comfortable. The center console around the gear shifter is raised up and a hard plastic. My arm kept landing on that. The seats are less robust. The touch buttons are small and confusing on the steering wheel. As for the drive, the steering is tighter. I didn't have any concerns about the steering so not sure I needed the adjustment. But the engine, oh my, that is a hard no. It is loud and jerky accelerating. I wasn't sure which part of the powertrain was responsible so I drove a Pathfinder right after it and it confirmed it's the turbo engine. What made this car was comfort and a smooth powerful drive. This is not the same vehicle. I think most people that have an existing one will be disappointed with the changes.

i have a '21 SV model. i love it. the engine and transmission work so smoothly together and i've had zero issues with it. a great vehicle! i also think it looks much nicer than the '25 model.... but, of course, that's purely subjective.

Both look good, but I'd go with 2024, mainly for the interior and dash set up. I don't like it being too techy.

Little things are cheaper on the 2025. Like no carpet on the sides in the rear cargo area. You’d think that would be essential to keep noise down. Still looking at upgrading my 2015 Platinum to a 2025 this year though.

No one cares when buying a mid size suv if one is a second quicker or slower than another, it's about comfort, driving ability and looks.
