He actually was in the Phantom of the opera years ago. They are the BEST duo ever. Breath taking.
She knows how to be the part in the scene as well as hitting it vocally. Goosebumps st the end!
Exactly. Floor playing the part of Christine during the song helps draw the viewer into the song much more. The fact that both Floor and Henk play off each other, character wise, during the song only intensifies the feeling.
For me this is the best version ever, i can not hear the song sang otherwise anymore, ty great reaction

This version is the best I ever heard
You could check all the performances of Floor in the same show. Or Henk's beautiful duet with Emma Heesters (Vivo Per lei) or his great rendition of Sound of Silence (Disturbed version of the Simon and Garfunkel classic). or maybe a salsa version of Hotel California ...
A comment from another reactor hit the nail on the head. The 'chemistry' between the singers made this work. It's a duet that needs that personal touch to make it work and F@*k me it works. So many amazing covers out there, but damn this was good. (As was the reaction).
That sound right at the beginning was actual thunder, there was a crazy storm happening while they were singing this song and you can see water leaking through the tent and dripping around them. The other singers said the atmosphere and that performance a few feet away from them was a mind-blowing experience. Such a cool coincidence.

Great reaction! The arrangement that was used, is Nightwish's version of the song. Henk Poort played the Phantom for a few years, back in the 90's in the Dutch version of the Musical. Which Floor saw and loved, when she was young. He will be performing this song with Floor, when Nightwish plays two already sold out shows in Amsterdam, this upcoming November 23rd and 24th.
This was really good performance, from both of them. And like many has pointed out, Henk was phantom in Dutch version of this musical. And that ending, Floor keeping D6 for 8sec... And she looks like that she must stop, cos the song is finishing..., but she would have had power to continue still next 8sec!!! She is amazing woman! If think singing in one line, other end is growling and opposite is opera style, then she is only person who I know who do that whole scale.And do it well. Every style between those two!

i think it also helped that this duet was for floor a dream come true. since she was 12 or so she is huge fan of him since she saw him in the theatre doing the phantom. For her he is not just henk poort but THE HENK POORT. and since she met him in the show she got even more convinced he can do everything. He surprised me too by letting see he can sing a lot more then opera. and that she got that high note , think he and the drums pushed her so high. still great that she made it and shows she is a good. btw from same show 2 guys reaching a high one , try HENK POORT in NOELIA and also in SOUND OF SILENCE. otherone ROLF SANCHEZ doing SOLO OTRA VEZ , spanish for all by myself

Disturbed.- Sound of Silence. Pick the video, it tells the story. It's one of those songs that people search on the internet to see people's reaction. Simon who wrote and performed the song with Garfunkle said this is the way this song should be sung. Some have said Simons version was a warning and this version is because people did not listen..The singer is very talented. It's a song that is on my personal play list. If you can, when you can. Take care of yourself first.
one of the best songs of simon and garfunkel i saw them in 1965 live accoustic in the netherlands the best 3 versions for me are 1 simon and garfunkel ----2 henk poort---3 nick and simon my opinion
Can you imagine being the people watching them that close, just WOW, the other people are also singers and Henk has also done a duet with the blond lady in the red, her name is Emma Heesters. The song they did was "Vivo Per Lei" it is an Italian song about music "I Live for Her" her is music.

Great reaction video DramaSydTV! They may perform this song live in Amsterdam 2020? Floor has never performed this song live with Nightwish. Tuomas felt that this is one of the songs that was so perfect for Tarja and her full operatic vocal ability. They have not performed it live since 2005 "The End of an Era" DVD. Be well my friend. What makes this performance so amazing is that Floor is singing with Henk, the man that was the Phantom in the Dutch version. Floor was around 12 when she saw the show. Here she is, singing for Henk, literally inhabiting Christine in every way. Powerful chemistry! This performance always leaves me elated - it's just incredible. There are some other great performances from this show as well, from both Floor and the other singers. Henk even sings Your Man - compare and contrast with the awesome Home Free version, particularly when they do it live in concert.

My favourite version for sure. Tarja is great too and I do prefer a few of the nightwish songs that she does over Floor, but Floor killed this one on Beste Zangers.
Hi DramaSyde. Have you heard of Grace Davies. She came second in uk xfactor two years ago. She got all the way to the final singing her own songs. She is a brilliant singer songwriter, she went off the grid for a couple of years, she’s a perfectionist and would not be rushed into releasing anything of her own until it was ready. Please could you react to her new song “Invisible “ it’s her new release and it is very powerful. Her audition on the xfactor was brilliant it’s called “Roots”

I love both the Nightwish version with Tarja and this one, its just different elements of both versions for example. I love how you can hear how something sinister, eerie is about to happens in the end. In this with Henk Poort, I love the Chemestry. This is of course not the only things I love about the two versions but just an example of what I prefer in them and something that sets them apart. I really love both versions.
Just as in Football, I like a physical match when you can hear and almost feel every tackle, then again other times I love seeing great technical and tactical play, where you are outplaying your opponents.

There's no need at all to make comparissons or say which is better, because both are amazing and enjoyable, just different voices, different styles, but for sure, both incredible. Enjoy good music and great artists, there's a lack of them these days.
