Hey Scotti, i enjoyed seeing you just be a dude talk about the shit back in the day. Share a story with you. Tom Kiefer is an amazing, amazing talent in my opinion. The Long Cold Winter tour was fucking epic and fit for Aerosmith, KISS or anyone else. I really liked the arc between Night Songs, to Heartbreak Station, as I bet he and I share alot of love for the same classic bands. Classic to us I'm 53. Like everyone my age I was in the hero sweepstakes, playing ridiculous flutters, dive bombs, sweep, harmonic minor scales. Because I thought Kiefer's style was more in line with the 70's players I loved, i got my 1st Les Paul. An 89 Standard. A proper turd as it were, but it had enough mojo, to do this. My style changed that night. I finished phrases. Chise notes, istead of licks, used double stops instead of sweeps, stopped immediately playing muted 8th note verses, and started writing riffs. If you read this. If you know Tom. Tell him that. He's a dedicated dude to his craft. Respect to him and you guys for great representation of us back East. Thenriff rock movement happening right now never died here. The appreciation for the incredible hard rock of the 70's and late 60's and Steve Marriott neverenleft us back east. Seems to have caught on again, each with their very iwn Robert Plant. Though Dirty Honey landed a fabulous singer, but then he's from back east. I babble. Transmission end....
I saw skid row play right after the release, at the salty dog in Huntington Long Island, New York. York. It was a very small place with a couple of levels. And from up on high, I could see into the back of all their guitar rigs. They had tube screamers . And I'm pretty sure that the Ada mp1 was not invented yet

As someone who still has a lot of old guitar magazines going back to the early 90's, and guitar company catalogs....this is a really cool thing to do
Still have one!! 1987 Has the neck plate Neptune NJ USA .....
I had a Kramer Stryker 100 ST
That was my first decent guitar, I miss it. I destroyed it trying to be a luthier. Now I can build one hell of a guitar so I guess it was worth it.
hey cool i actually went to that national summer guitar workshop session with zakk and richie kotzen!
This was a great episode
Thanks for watching man! Happy you enjoyed it🎸🎸🎸

It’s not a rumor. They didn’t make shyt in Jersey.
Tom Keifer was the only individual in 80s hardrock era who stayed away from JD and heroin hence he knew.
I don't like this guitar for several reasons. 1. It has a single coil pickup. 2. It has a Floyd Rose.
I love it for those reasons!
