hi im in 8th grade rn and these are the stats I plan on achieving by the end of senior year, my extras are going to be Indian dance and the dance team at our school, student council, Junior thespian society ( national theatre recognition), an internship at a law firm, 150+ hours of community service and tennis. Of course I will be taking AP courses, I plan on becoming a lawyer or a judge but I plan on doing other stuff like acting on the side. I really wanna get into Yale. Are my extras enough? Will I have a chance of getting in? Please I need your help :)
You're just in 8th grade calm down it's not that serious, probably a freshman now. Don't be a tryhard just go with life sometimes overachieving isn't the way to go. Like a good amount of getting in college is grades and SAT/ACT focus on that first.
I would suggest not stressing out about it. Don’t do so many things you get burned out and do things you enjoy. Volunteer work definitely looks better if it a continuous type of community service or with a club or organization. Participate in your local government as a student (public speaking, canvassing, etc.). If your area has a governor school, apply there.
Does the SAT only have level 3 khan academy problems (like when the rainbow is filled but you don’t click on it after it for the level 4 problems) or will they also have level 4? Also is it the same for PSAT?

one tip i have is to practice reading SAT-level books (there are lists online!) so you can get faster at reading and comprehend better

Look at what type of questions you got wrong. Practice these type of question and learn from your mistakes basically

practice like crazy every day and identify what you got wrong. Then, correct the questions you got wrong and KNOW the right step by step process.
