Slipknot is a healthy mix of theatrics and raw talent. A lot of bands that aren't particularly gifted use theatrics to provide some entertainment value while others are just pure musicians and no frills. Slipknot has that balance mastered. They can be corny and wild but you stop and listen to their lyrics and you're like holy shit, that's deep.
I HAVE TO SAY...when i first heard this song i didn't like it but then i started to listen to it more and look deeper into the lyrics and the more i listened to this song, the darker this song gets and cause of this, i love it.

If i cant feel them lyrics then i just cant really feel the song generally. Not always. But i'd say 9 times out of 10. This song is great. It may be dark, but many people have lived this very topic. So its a close home hitting song for many people. I feel its really a masterpiece in its own light. But that's my opinion. Sone people may not like this song just BECAUSE it may be to close hitting to home for them.

Personally I think this song is quite romantic, and that a song doesn't have to be like a soft pop song about sex to be romantic. Even though it was written as the relationship between music industry and Slipknot, it is lyrically pretty much about a guy that's madly in love with a girl, the last part of the song is quite agressive and may be psychopathic, but I like the first and second line very much and think that it fits an obsessed relationship so much, for example, you can relate to a lot of relationships in fictions with this song.
But I think it's more like in the opposite way, like Harley sings it about J, Cause she is the one who is already in love with him and can't let him go and he hurts her
