For someone with eyes as amazing as yours... You probably emhoes seeing how in the leads he does the quick pull.. What amazes me is how he can do the whole event from top 16 to final using the same methods. Many people don't notice every clip is a different run ahhaa
Haha thank you! Yea I've noticed how in his lead runs he's a master of 'snapping' his rear end into huge angle on high speed entries, super difficult to follow lol... that's what I like about Naokis style in general--every motion he makes is precise but he's fast, really fast lmao
Almost got sad saying I never saw your reply then haha looked at the time u sent it now feel a ittle bit better haha.... You have a good eye bro... Use the hashtags #naokileads on IG and see the magic
Normal drifting is slower because their goal is just to create a good drift with good smoke and angle... These are aimed more towards speed alone so he sacrifices angle to gain more speed 😉
To accomplish this I would need less throttle right? I'm trying to get this technique down in assetto so I can catch up in tandem, At the moment im modulating it up and down quickly instead of staying on it for too long and flooring it, is this correct?
I used to have a problem.. I'd give it less throttle then the car would slow down.. Until I learnt the mindset to have is to have as much gas as possible with the least angle.. So he's bouncing from mid throttle and shooting up.. Those moments of shooting up save him from slowing down have him gaining speed. Keep them high and angle is gained
Its same technique I start using last year thanks too Naoki and Tsuchiya san, you can be really fast. Sadly I've only drifted two events since I started using it :(
King drifter💥🔥🔥fans from Malaysia🤝🇲🇾🇲🇾
thanks for making these videos big help
The e brake + clutch combo at around 13:40, that was an excellent kick

This is something that anyone would want to replicate in Assetto Corsa, GT and Project Cars.
fun intersting vid having me wanting to understand more of what`s going on technique wise how are the techniques different to normal drifting ?

Don't worry friend. Always use time away to Plan and learn more.. I can't wait for you to be back at the Track ♥
i would loveeeeee to go streeto with Naoki
Wish it wasn't frowned upon and he could still do it 😔
Naoki turns more tire into speed, not smoke
Yess watch his lead runs you'll see he always has the least smoke after transitions
