    Step through is king. There is no need for anyone to have difficulty getting IN and OUT of a bike.

    Take my money 😍😍😍😍😍
    I love this bike. I’ve been looking for a good review for ages. I love the back sweep handlebars, big tyres that will do pavement and gravel. I love the frame. I just can’t fault it👌

    Great review! This is an adventure/commuting bike. For those of us who don’t care for single track rock and root bouncing stuff it is a perfect platform for dirt, gravel and paved riding. I love the sweeped handle bars and more upright position. My main bike is a Pine Mountain 1 and even it has a little too aggressive forward position for my taste. This might be a future option for me. 👍

      I’ve had this for a year now and did a bikepacking 290 miles and it worked great loaded w camp gear and now urban rides and v comfortable. Loved last year’s brownish gold color I guess black is more muted. Love this bike and being able to just step off - it def saved me when I fell off trying to go up a sidewalk in rain.

    Love Marin for making this for the masses. Great bike and looks cool unless you are a lycra wearing watt obsessed middle age guy.

    This may abe my next bike! I have a Team Marin 2 for trail riding and a Marin Headlands 2 for road/gravel riding. I am soon 59 and my back and joints my prefer this more comfortable set up for my daily work commute

    Own a marin larkspur 1 for a year plus already. I usually go buy some groceries and detour to jungle exploring on my way home 😂😂😂.

    I'm getting mine in few days to come.. It's larkspur 1, planning to change the crank, any recommendations, thanks in advance.

    We're getting this bike for my wife. I'm 6ft, so I'll see how it feels. If Marin made it XL than maybe I wouldn't be thinking about Muirwoods for myself. It would also be nice if they made Muirwoods 2 with deore drivetrain, dropper post and Shimano brakes... Time will tell. Yes I know I can mod it later myself. But it looks like the price difference they got in larkspur is pretty narrow. I'm not sure I could do the same.

    I see a Stooge inspired bike here too. Put some Moto bars on this and you've got a mainstream Mixte Scrambler - and an entire bike for the price of their frame

    Hi thanks for posting. Super helpful. What’s the model of the stand you’re using for the rear wheel?

      @BikeBrosBikeShop  7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Glad it was helpful. Do you mean the stand? It is by Evo, a brand of hlc, a parts distribution company

    Love this bike. One thing you didn’t mention is are there any differences between this and the copper coloured version from 2021/2022. For the life of me i can’t seem to find any.

      If it were me, similar weight I'd likely be around 30psi

      @BikeBrosBikeShop think your about right. A few people said low 20's but at 25 I can really see the tyre bulge out when I get on! Loving the bike, never had anything like it!

    Assuming size was not an issue, whats more fun to ride? Larkspur or Muirwoods?

    • @BikeBrosBikeShop
      @BikeBrosBikeShop  6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I think that is a very individual opinion. How much does it add to your fun when people are surprised to see what you're riding and where? Also, in the stock format the Larkspur is more ready for fun with the bigger, softer tires.

    How does it climb? Worried about how upright it is/getting weight over the front wheel.

    • @BikeBrosBikeShop
      @BikeBrosBikeShop  6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      It sure won't be an XC bike and likely awkward on steeper ups.
