This is my first time seeing these. I'm looking for new headlights. I'm also boy a huge fan of the sequential turn signal feature on aftermarket lights. Can this feature be turned off/switche/wired off as like in other headlights?
Just a heads up for everyone looking at these lights, I got some the other day and they DID NOT have the leveling harness so the car was throwing a code. So just something to check for when buying them online, I got my set from eBay so I would verify with the seller if it has it or not. Also for the little bit I had them installed on the car the fit wasn't that great. UPDATE: Looks like they don't play nice with the STi with the leveling motors depending on where you get them from. I feel like the set I got was an earlier version
Update on that, I made the harness for the leveling motor and added it to the light and it was still throwing "Headlights Disabled" code so I don't know if there's something with the Spyder lights not fully integrating into the cars electronics. On paper everything with my lights is the same as the ones in the video and the car throws codes. Yes they lights "work" but I don't think a product that makes your car throw codes is "plug and play"
@@Zeedin i installed these on my 19' wrx and my stock headlights did not have a leveling motor to uninstall. I could be wrong, but i didn't have what was seen in the video. i also did not encounter any error codes and I'm on day 3 of running them.
@@BkayTELE Question, where did you buy your set from? I found them on eBay for 600$ish a while back ago, I regret not buying them when I had the chance. Now they are sold out for a long time. The seller on eBay doesnt know when he will get them again. I contacted spyder who made these lights, They sent me to another vender that’s selling them for double the price now. Like wtf. Not sure if eBay where knock off but they look identical
I installed these on my 2015 wrx, leveling motor from stock headlights do not fit onto these headlights went ahead and put them on, have a code come up and one light beams lower than the other
That's what the motor removal on the old lights and installation on the new lights is for. Just make sure the model you're ordering supports that feature.
Anything I gotta worry about for the halogen headlights? Not sure if I should be worried about the leveling motor or anything like that one dude who got codes on his STI. And If I wanted to get rid of the sequential turn signals, any news on how I would go about that for these sets?
@@gelicaa2790 I went with vlands I got from Facebook for a decent price, and my car is the base wrx. I don't know if there's a fix for the STI codes if that's what you're dealing with, I read this from another comment who have has problem.
I just got these about a month ago. I'm very confused on how to adjust the headlights. My OEM's and the Spyder headlights do not have a leveling motor. They're both internal adjustments. Mine are sitting a little high at the moment. Does anyone in the comments know how to properly adjust them up and down without breaking the unit??
It was nice that you actually demonstrated removal of the plastic bumper cover...👍👍👍
Why is there an install video for these lights when we can't buy them yet
Facts, they told me “COVID 19 pushed the production date back”
why don’t you guys do an install with the halogen version video, there’s not instructions in the box

What about the halogens version? There’s no instructions and then I installed everything and high beams don’t work.
I legit cant take of the connector on the headlights, its almost like they’re secured with something
Same. Did you figure out how to get it off?
How many sets of plyers are required?
When’s the release?
One of the headlights turned on before the other… is that normal??
I have a 2020 STI. I'm wondering if the steering headlight function will still work with these. Does anyone know? Thanks.

Has anyone install this on a 2018 sti?
