Your lessons are great, I definitely will be practicing this a lot. I am a 3 month beginner and have learned so much from you. I go to local jams and now am starting to surpass people who started before me.Thank you so much for your excellent instruction. Your easy going voice I relate to, slow speed and then speed up. I still get a lot of muted strings. Strength and calluses will probably come from practice and eliminate the muted sound.
Really cool lesson. Not only a new chord for me but four new chords with just a slide, lift and a slight finger reposition. Bonus: I get to practice the waltz strum at the same time. You explain things so well. The closeup inset was helpful. Happy Halloween. Thanks for our “treat.”
Thank you Kevin , you are a great instructor , my hope was to learn to play the ukulele and you have made it possible , I practice all the time ! Your instructions and work sheets are easy to work with on my own . I am smiling cause I am play the ukulele!!!!
Since you like to know where we are from, I am from Quebec-Canada! I am still struggling with those barre chords but as usual, practicing and practicing again will get me there! Thanks again for your excellent lessons!
Keep at it Alain! I've never been to Quebec, but have always wanted to visit Montreal. Maybe someday we'll do a workshop there. Thanks for learning with me - Kevin
Thanks a lot for these lessons, most helpful I encountered thus far. My thumb and part of the hand between thumb and index finger really hurts. Could you be more specific on where to place my thumb? Thanks so much, Heleen, Holland.
These various chord progressions are perfect for where I am in learning, The melodies they make serve as additional encouragement to keep practicing. P.S. St. Louis, MO is my HQ.
Kevin, Thank you so much for your lessons. My barre chords are getting better, my fingers are good too now. I make my learning more difficult because I played 2, 3 and 5th frets I don't know why. Same thing was with Dm7. I only have 1 string muted, but this is my first day, I forgive me. Your videos're super useful and informative. You have helped me a lot and help me so much. "Favorite Bb" To be honest, even after your video, I didn't want to "meet" this chord, but just because I wanna play the Beatles, I need to learn this chord. Bb is friendly chord. My Bb is doing well. I need to slide between frets faster, I don't keep up with you. Thank you so much for your support and smiling reminder in every video, It really helps. I play my uke in Russia

Finger exercises make sense. I will work on this. Thank you!
Nice break down!
Thanks 😎
You are the best teacher, especially for beginners. Great pace..
This was a tough one. I took a few days to do it, and I'll probably have to come back to it again a time or two. Thanks for the challenge!

Doing great Kevin. Thanks for this. You’ll be starting up a skype uku group soon 😂
Is it Taylor swift, Blank Check?
Struggling bigtime! My left thumb gets super sore supporting the neck. 👎
