Yep. I literally have two cut wires on my ABS system. One at the rear sensor and one by the brake fluid fill. No ABS light or codes, and no symptoms that I can feel. Maybe a slight heavy foot needed to brake and that's it. Not sure if any of that would change if the wires are fixed?
Makes sense. I do feel a thump when i reverse and put the wheel all the way for a sharp turn turn. Maybe poking. I do feel i need a wheel bewring my scion xb is humming while i drive
A bad wheel sensor can cause transmission issues. The computer doesn’t know how fast everything is moving and doesn’t send the right info to the trans module causing slipping rough shifts or limited operations.
I was driving when the ABS and road track came up on the dashboard, I was worried, then whenever I hit on the brake pedal to climb a bump I felt the brake pedal pump, I felt it under foot while stepping on it. also when I try to park, after stopping successfully I feel a Jerk like a var hit from behind. a suddenly Jerk. that are the 2 symptoms. 1. When stepping on the break pedal I feel like the brake pump like a tap under my foot while my foot on the brake. 2. When I try to park, after a successful stop I feel a sudden Jerk like a car hit my car from behind. this doesn't happen every time but often. Please what do you think is the cause of this? damage abs sensor ? or dirty speed sensor?
Hi, I hope you could help me with an issue I am having. I lift a car and put bigger wheels on, now the speed and total mileage is alot off and I can not find a way to tell the car the size wheels, I also notice the ABS is off because the ECU thinks the wheel size is the same and thinks the car is going at a lower speed. Is there a way to rectify this?.

That's the only symptom is 2 lights on the dash? No actual mechanical symptoms like grinding, feel of drag, growling? 👀

Bad wheel sensors can throw your car into limp mode where it don't won't go over 30 mph and etc
Will a dirty, or metal shavings from magnet on the speed sensor make them faulty?
