I want to thank you for all your hard work and effort you put into your reviews like this one. It kind of irks me all the problems you have getting review copies especially considering the many TH-camrs I see out there that there supposed reviews consist of holding up the box and just saying it’s available makes me wonder why these companies will continue to give them copies when they’re not actually reviewing anything keep up the good work 👏👏👏👍
Thanks, I agree it all makes absolutely no sense to me either, because I put so much extra work into each review that no other reviewers even does a small fraction of the testing & work I put into each and every review I create. I get really tired of contacting companies to have them never even reply to me or ignore me altogether. I have been figuring out that it seems to not matter how much my content is viewed or how good & also popular my content is, because it seems that companies simply want you to have over 10,000 subscribers before they care that my reviews get more views on my content then TH-cam channels with over 10k subscribers, the whole thing is just mind numbingly frustrating. So it feels like no matter what I do, none of it matters till I hit the random & arbitrary number of 10k, and part of the hardest thing is getting people to find my channel & subscribe so I can get to that 10k number fast lol 😂 I have also been trying not to spend as much pre ordering & buying stuff early because I have been overpaying for tons of these reviews. So It’s been costing me a ton more then it used to because I used to try and wait for a good sale before I bought something to review where as in the last 6 months I drastically changed & I have been spending wayyyy to much on creating 3 big review videos a week. So my wife says this youtube channel with all the special effects programs, 4K recording & computer equipment, microphones and stuff that I over pay to review, each review cost me too much money to produce. So not meaning to rant on and on it’s just been getting tougher lately deciding if I can keep up this amount of expenses & work I put into each of these videos, I have been trying to decide if I should cut back on the work I put into each video. It’s just hard to sometimes produce high quality content like this video and only get 300 or so views because I make only .86 cents on this video lol!!! So it’s not what everyone thinks TH-cam is lol!!!! Hope my rant doesn’t offend you, just thought I would share because I have just been having some really long conversations with my wife lately about all of this stuff & how much this cost us lol!!!
Very good detailed and in depth review. I also love the anthology series particular The Twilight Zone, Tales of the Unexpected, Takes From the Darkside, The Outer Limits and of course Night Gallery. It looks like a fairly significant upgrade to the very average DVDs (which I have) so I ordered this one today and cannot wait for it to as arrive and look forward to season 2!
Thanks. As far as The Night Stalker Blu Ray Set, I am planning on getting that series on Blu Ray I just haven’t seen a good deal for it yet and felt it was overpriced $79.99 when it first released so I am just waiting for the price to drop to pick that up.
Hello, James: I like your 'In Search of Physical Media' picture, especially at the bottom. I'm not sure if you said or not but are the blu ray episodes complete in content? I watched 'The Painted Mirror' in season 2 from DVD and they had taken out IMO the best scene of where the cat goes into the mirror and what he sees in there. It would be great if everything is restored back to what it was.

@@junglejim13660 Thanks for your well wishes. To give you some background, I just struggle a lot more during the winters due to my ongoing chronic nerve damage & severe Trigeminal Neuralgia pain. So I just try to prepare each winter for things to get even worse but no matter how much I mentally prepare, it still stinks lol!!!! But I am very blessed daily so I look for the joy out of life & I don’t want you to think I am complaining or grumbling about it. After what happened to me I feel very blessed to be here. I have also thought about another platform for everyone to support my TH-cam Channel but I haven’t been able to find one that doesn’t take anywhere between 25%-30%. I have also considered starting a paid membership program with some little digital benefits here on my TH-cam channel but I wasn’t sure how many people would sign up. So it’s been a hard thing for me to find an easy outlet for everyone to support. Because of how much time and work it takes for me to create each video I make whatever platform I use needs to be easy for me to setup and use otherwise it will take away from me creating my videos & I am trying to avoid that too, because it already takes me from start of making a video to completely finished a full 4 long days of working hard. Hmmmm so I haven’t found an easy answer yet?

I never felt one time you were complaining about your condition. I'm just so happy someone with your passion makes such quality content on YT for all of us to enjoy. Hello, K: If you have the time, could you verify for me if The Painted Mirror in season two is complete? They removed footage on the DVDs. The part I am referring to is when the dog chases the cat into the mirror. The DVD shows it going in and almost immediately coming back out. I saw it back in the 80s and it showed the cat prowling through the bush until it comes to a clearing. It sees two dinosaurs fighting up on a hill and then it hightails it back out of the mirror. IMO, it was the best scene in the episode.
Not that I could see, as I was talking about in this video there is no reason to keep the old DVD’s. We’re you surprised by some of the quality that I showed & talked about in this Night Gallery Blu Ray set?

No, because of how poorly this video was supported originally I have not currently continued reviewing this type of TV series lately. These type of comparison reviews are a lot of hard work & very costly for me to make, so I have to keep track of what’s supported & popular enough to justify me spending 4 full days of working on a review. I may go back & do some followups in the future but as of right now, I have not done the Twilight Zone Blu Ray Comparison.

I always thought Night Gallery's best season was the 2nd season....and the Night Gallery pilot first aired on November 8, 1969, was brilliant
