I’ve never had luck with synergy tie rod ends or ball joints. They tend to last 6-12 months for me and then they are done, that’s under 10k miles. The deletes I put in have been great.
@@jesterofatlas5749 hey thanks for replying! I wasn’t sure if there was any sort of metal on metal noise. Which I assume there wasn’t since I think I read it’s Teflon on metal but just never know. I know when switching to solid stuff sometimes it can get noisier lol. Thank you so much for your reply.
2 weeks ago on the backside of Windrocks Cadillac Hill, my D44 ball joints decided to separate and my wheel nearly fell off. Had to leave the jeep and go to a store, get ball joints and come back and do a midnight ball joint job on the trail. Ordered the deletes ASAP!

Checked my ball joints and to my complete surprise the drivers side were shot! I had no idea they were bad until you explained the correct way to check them. Just ordered a set of these bad boys with the 15% off, thank you SO much for sharing this video!
So glad I caught this video this weekend. I looked at these deletes a few weeks back but decided to wait due to price, but this discount is fantastic! Just ordered mine. Great install video per usual (appreciate the tips and jokes as well)!
This has been a Jeep part install weekend. I got my new Reign JLU on the 19th, and I have new bumped, rock sliders, flush mount tail lights, and more to install. Glad I have the time off for the holiday. ^.^
Ben. I found the LSXR truck intake fits the same as the stock intake. I tried a Holley intake but the snout pushed the throttle body into the radiator. Fitec has the ls3 truck injectors. The Holley throttle body seems to be a better fit. Fabrats is using the same intake on the FJ build.
TH-cam decided to unsub me from your channel for some reason. After seeing your video on the BJ eliminators on your dana 60 I was convinced that I would go with those on my 1ton swap on my YJ.
Great vid as alway. I bought the Teraflex adjustable balljoints about a yr and a half ago and already having issues keeping them tight(they're adjustable) think im about to pull the trigger on these....
Did the lift actually bend the lower links of the 4 link? Maybe it's an optical illusion, but they sure look crooked right where the lift pads are against them. probably better to lift by the frame.
Hey Ben, I’ve been watching your show for a long time now and I’ve learned alot Thankyou. If you ever want a Jeep to work on for one of your shows I would drop mine off with you because I can’t figure it out and I’m about done with it. It’s a 2012 MW3 version and I love it but it never has steered properly!! P.S i live close ish I think
Says this is a year old, how are they holding up? I heard they get noisy after a while, any feedback? I need to do ball joints on my JK and am looking at these. I live in Colorado so we get all kinds of weather and elements.
I'm probably not the only comment, but to complete the swap, you should do a DIY alignment (toe in, toe out) and then center your steering wheel. Without disconnecting any rods, it probably didn't move much; however, I noticed a little left bias when steering straight.
Steering wheel was already off center, we need to weld up a new drag link since we are out of adjustment from the axle swap. It did not change alignment at all.
Do you know if I can install a Sparten locker in my 87 Comanche metric ton option Dana 44 ( with TracLok) instead of clutches?? Desperate to know. Thanks Dandahermit
Are there any disadvantages with not being able to grease the ball joint deletes? These seem similar to dynatrac hd ball joints, difference is you can grease dynatracs.
They are Teflon lined so no need for grease. People who have been running them for 5+ years haven’t had any issues, some of those are in salt states as well.
Thats funny I was going to say a bit joke too but didn't want to be rude. Lol 😆 great video. Never got to run into you in NC. Love the channel. That Ls sounds good. Got an old 4 banger in my yj. Been thinking of a 6 but that 8 sounds good.

They are RCV axle shafts. It’s an entire shaft replacement that is made of chromoly steel (much stronger metal), and moves away from a ujoint to a CV (constant velocity joint). They are much stronger, and unlike a Ujoint they have the same strength even at a turned angle. They are pretty pricey, but warrantied against breaks, and once you start off-roading fairly hard then axle shafts are a much needed upgrade. I think I go over them a little bit in this video, but rcv has great information on their website. th-cam.com/video/PiBmwah_mdQ/w-d-xo.html

Is there ball joint delete for IFS? I have a Renegade Trailhawk I off-road in Colorado and such and I have a wobble when accelerating. The motor mounts are a known issue and I replaced them. I’m wondering if my ball joints are bad and if there’s a ball joint delete for IFS. Thanks for any help.
Hey guys, unrelated clunk question. I keep getting a clunk from the transmission crossmember. The dealership replaced the transmission mount thinking it was that but it’s the cross member clunking. Have you ran into that in your JT/gladiator? I have a 2020 but only 7900 miles.
@@JKGearandGadgets yup, keep getting it at all times. Bumps, bumps when turning say out of drive way, tight turns without bumps. Wonder what it can be that’s wrong. It’ll be good for about a day when I loosen it and torque it back up but then starts to clunk again. Womp womp
While you’re here; do you notice any added noise or anything when doing these ball joint deletes? Like say for someone who would be driving the Jeep on the street also and ironically enough clunks and noises drive me crazy lol. (Especially cross member ones that won’t be quiet 😂)
So far amazing! Granted I only have 4 off-road trips on them, but I’ve put over 2k street miles on them and they have no visible wear. They grip like crazy offroad
