@@dabbleandtravel in Ukraine when we talk about Ukrainian cuisine - we talk about Mr. Klopotenko, you've chosen maximally right guy to show Ukrainian food to you🙂
Ukraine have one of the best dishes in Eastern Europe, they know how to prep a tasty food and impress the customers with restaurants atmosphere and good service. :)
Fantastic place, city, country. My heart is broken. Best regards and I'm trying to catch up on the movies. So many buildings destroyed, but why? 🤦 It's really sad.
You can freeze a borsch after cooking - usually I make near 8-9l for family, (thats ok for products and vegetables - parts of vegetables and rest of conponents did not left in cooler, for example - hole cabbage using) , and part of ready borsch will be frozen. And when a fresh borsch finished - so good come to home after hard day, and do not cook - simply put a container to microwave. A taste and tezture is a same practically😁
Margarita did an excellent job with this initial installment of your food tour. This has got to be the hippest and most adventurous food and beverage tasting experience you have ever embarked on. I am very surprised by the level of hipness that Kiev bars and restaurants are at. But then again, when I think of Oksana Baiul, I think of some level of sophistication (she lives in Cliffside Park, New Jersey btw). This is quite a big leap from the ghoulish scenery you took us through in Chernobyl. I don't even know how the chicken from Chernobyl even survived it (a guest of the Muppet Show). I watched it, just not sure I'd go there. Hmmm...would I?
She’s amazing! We would highly recommend her for a guide but also the places she took us, it was such good fun and rightly so, a different experience 😅
I like how you had this fine dining and you went "it's fine" :) I can see now why the chef calls it 100year forward ago type of food. Very unusual. Pretty edible tho. :)
I used to escargots (snails) In Pernod and garlic butter as a child in France as a child ......as an adult....Taxi! A brilliant vlog you both surpassed yourselves. And as a final dish Id like to serve you a plate load of positive vibes!
I have been watching you guys for what seems ages and what really makes me smile is that over that time how much you both have started really experimenting with different types of foods and been prepared to try them, love it!
You guys are amazing. Daring enough to eat Bees, leeches and beaver. Harriet and I had escargot in France. About as daring as we get. Kudos to you guys. The food did look so good. A shout out to Margarita for introducing you food in Kyiv. Great job as always. Looking forward to the next vlog. Sending you lots of love 💕💕. Harriet and Jim . Richmond, Va.
I am ukrainian and leeches definitely not part of ukrainian cuisine. I think whoever's came up with this idea was thinking about doing something diffrent. Obviously gross
That was so interesting! Thank you for this lovely journey around the city I love so much. There is a song "How can I not love you, my Kyiv' (Як тебе не любити, Києве мій?). And your video is just another reason it is not possible not to fall in love with it!
Good food tour indeed! Next time I am in Kyiv I should drop to all of those restaurants For great beers you can also try "Кеды искусствоведа" (basement level of Besarabskiy Market) - amazing selection of milk stouts and delicious snacks
