Ravens D communicates well during pre snap
The ravens defense gave different looks like cover 2, zone. It kinda reminded me of the defense the bucs played on the chief in the SB. Patrick queen on a couple plays was playing like a safety by the 2 high safeties. I trust that the 49ers would do better in a rematch(SB) Love the Niners to death I trust that they’ll fix the problem especially containing Lamar in the pocket kinda like they did hurts, but we’ll see

I beg to differ, the 49ers out gained the Raven in yards. The difference was the turnovers. If the turnovers were even the 9ers win. This can be corrected. In the SB it will be a different outcome.😅

Completely destroyed is quite a stretch, the 49ers offense wracked up a lot of yards. Just the Ravens defense played really well and kept 49ers out of the endzone. Outplayed would be a good term, destroyed is too much.
49ers did rack up yardage, but you can’t look past the 5 turnovers and giving Brock Purdy his worst game as and NFL Player.
Also, destroyed gets more clicks lol 😆
@TheCoachPlays ya, but 2 of his 4 turnovers were receivers not catching the ball and then tipping it. 2 in Purdy, 2 on receivers.
Every QB has those types of games, some a lot more often than others
I ain't a huge Purdy fan, but I can't put all that on him.

Last turnover wasn't Purdy at all, was Darnold, and that is to be expected with him. The dude is a turnover machine

The 49ers had more passing yards than the Ravens: 308-241.
The 49ers had more rushing yards than the Ravens: 121-102.
San Francisco outgained Baltimore: 429-343.
Niners had 6.3 yards per play to the Ravens 5.4 yards per play.
But when you turn the ball over FIVE TIMES and 100 yards in penalties it's impossible to win. That's the story of the game. 49ers had no trouble moving the ball against the no. 1 defense in the NFL. They beat themselves. Ravens didnt do anything.

When u put all your faith in the front seven like the 49ers have your secondary lacks playmakers ..and that's who creates you turnovers..to reliant on pressure on defense..when the 49ers are blocked that defense is stuck ... nothing happens

@codyjackson245 yea they didn't destroy us..429 yards of offense.is not destroying! .if not for them 3 tipped passes that got picked ..we had 5 turnovers and still had a chance to come back and win ..that's insane ..run it back with us having a clean game and it's a different outcome

Alot of those yds were after the ravens had the game in hand and also in the first quarter.also the 49ers had 4 or 5 big chunks plays,a chunk play here then a chunk play there but the 9ers couldn't move the ball consistently at all other then the first drive that ended in a pick in the red zone and once again I believe in the 2nd quarter but thats really it plus the 5 ints to tells me that the ravens defense handled the 9ers really well also mcaffery had a single run for 65yds and finished the game with 103 which means he only added what 38 more yds on top of that 1 65 yd run so I would say that's also pretty handled

For a second I wasn’t sure if he checked himself out or if he was just pulled because Shanahan knew that game was over!?

Shanahan didn’t want to ruin Purdy’s confidence by just running the ball 45 times but maybe they should’ve.
It may have opened up larger passing lanes for the receivers and Purdy.
Sometimes you have to play the game in front of you and not the one on the script!
I saw somewhere that Purdy avgs 9yds per pass that originate at or behind the line of scrimmage. Great number but it just takes a good tackling team to ruin a scheme and the Ravens attacked the scheme and won handily.
The worry for The Niners should be about Shanahan’s inability to adapt on the fly.
His teams at 0-38 when trailing by 10 or more with him as HC!
It signifies that this offense doesn’t have a lot of room for error. And they had plenty of errors vs Baltimore.
It may only be one game… but is it a chink in the armor?
