About Lola Amour:
Lola Amour is a 7-piece band that dabbles in the genres of modern rock, funk, and pop. Their peculiar sound is a synthesis of disparate musical influences. The band began creeping its way slowly to the local Philippine music scene in 2016 and has since then been gaining traction with their music and whimsical personalities. Since then they have released their debut EP “Don’t Look Back”, their single “Pwede Ba” and their latest EP, “Don’t Look Back (Revisited)”. The band is currently working on their first full-length album.

I'm a teenager who's turning 20 in a few months and I have watched you perform live at Xavier- Ateneo de Cagayan University for their school fest.
I just wanted to tell you that it was a romantically ironic night for me. There was this guy, we were seeing each other for almost a month and we still didn't have that label. That night, with you guys singing your hearts out, he really made me feel things and it was basically the happiest night for me (I'll be honest, it still is up to now) but for some reason your band was already giving me a hint to what was about to happen next.
I have to say that I really really loved how you hyped up the crowd to start the song and giving us the freedom to shout out the words "PAASA KA" with our hearts. You guys really gave us that solid live performance night and it just went with how the cold the night breeze was. It might have been better though if there were some booze but eh a bottle of coke was good enough to get our hearts broken.
We were singing with you while we were holding hands under the starry night and I really loved the collaboration with Al James cause that gave 600× more hype to the crowd, and yet again, you guys were seriously warning me with this guy. A little thank you for that.
To be honest, we were only a few feet away from you but you guys were a bit busy and I guess tired from the performance but it was okay if we didn't get noticed by you guys since the performance alone already gave the night a bang for us. Thank you for that night!
But yeah my heart got broken the next day cause he ghosted me so now, the song that you performed that night, Pwede Ba, really gives my heart that ouch kirot feeling. It still reminds me of how happy I was with him and how I would have wanted that night to last longer so I could hold his hand and hug him thight the whole night if I just knew that it was already our last night together. Honestly, I really wish that I shouted out the "PAASA KA!" parts with a louder voice and of course with my whole heart to really feel that "he'll be gone tomorrow" vibes of your song. Sayang huhu.
Please keep doing that, keep breaking our hearts cause atleast it gives us this reminder and assurance that we were for sure sincere with our feelings despite of getting ghosted/left and not receiving back that love/sincerity from them.
I really wish that I get to hear more songs from you and hopefully I can relate to a love song the next time that I get to see you perform live again! Kinda still hoping to find the right one and vibe with your songs in the future but for now, keep the songs coming and raise the flag for the OPM songs and (indie) artists!

The fact na somebody once dedicated this song to me, co-agreed to be the "theme song" of our relationship and wholeheartedly told me this song is about him understanding that the lyrics somewhat relay my message to him and he accepts waiting for how long it would take (kasi sabi niya iba raw ako sa iba nyang exes lol). I remembered that I listened to this song when the pandemic has started and everything was in total lockdown and I was scared to be cheat on, but I was the one who was fooling myself. I did those things… those worst things, I entertained women and I cheated on my ex. As our relationship grows but hidden, I began to realize that she needed someone better, a family would accept her, a partner that isn’t afraid when in a tight situations and would protect her, a guy would just give her love she needs better than I do. It’s hard. Really, convincing her to leave me even if she already accepted who I was but we’ve gone in so many fights and it was already unhealthy and I asked myself if I can see my future in her and I answered “No, because even if she said that she had fully given her love to you, you already know to yourself that you are not worthy of her because you realized your mistakes and you should work on that on your own, don’t you let yourself become her burden too.”
