That and being a good driver, saving Dom from being arrested, being good to the team, helping them out AND saving Vince. Dom had the same feelings for Brian even after admitting to being a cop. He switches immediately from exploding rage "YOU *ARE* THE COP! YOU'RE *A COP*!" to saying that he needs to find Jesse before Tran does because that's what matters to him and trusts Brian enough to tell him that. TL;DR - I think Dom already admired Brian and was EXTREMELY conflicted in this scene, that's why he initially backed up when Brian was calling in the chopper but went straight back to giving Vince medical attention

Tokyo drift is by far still my favorite in the franchise its actually about racing and not jumping off cliff or going to space with a Pontiac
