I remember in an interview vin said the first scene he filmed after Paul died was when dom played chicken with shaw in the black charger. He said he kept having to redo the scene several times cuz he kept breaking down crying.

The ending scene of Fast Five is perfect to me. They finally escape the criminal life. They have a beautiful place right by the beach with no more looking over their shoulders. Mia is awaiting Brian's kid. They can finally take a breather, enjoy life and be happy. And they start with Brian and Dom having a race with no worries on their mind. Just a straight up race to see who's the best.

Everything that comes after 6 is trash, i didnt see Hobbes and Shaw and I will not see FF9 because 7 was meh and 8 was a trash movie. i´m so sorry for what they did with this perfect series
By the way. To me. What makes the ending of FAST FIVE so legendary is - they were racing in the newest SRT challenger, and the newest R35 GTR, because they just got paid $10M each and they bought what suits their taste. But before then, they were racing what they could get their hands on. Brain liked the tuners, specifically R34 Skyline, and Dom liked muscle, specifically dodge chargers. But now they are finally free, and they get to have a race with their favorite cars, and the newest versions of them. It’s badass, because usually they are racing in heavily modified old school tuners and muscle, it’s cool to see them racing in the newest versions (even tho we didn’t get to see the race)
@@balubar6205 Yeah, 6 took the story full circle by bringing the crew back home with Letty, and made for a beautiful ending to the series, or at least it should have been. That retcon with Han's death was a disgrace and ruined the story for the sake of trying to find a way to continue it with some bullshit revenge plot. 7 was an absolute travesty that would have been terrible even if it wasn't for the unfortunate tragedy. The only scenes I liked are the ending with the tribute to Paul, and the quick clip of Shaw driving a matte black Aventador.

That last scene from Furious 7 wraps everything up so well, Dom and Brian aren't competing anymore, they aren't trying to get to a finish line before the other as they did at the end of F5. They just enjoy the last ride they will ever have in the series. God speed, Paul.

Brian came to improve Dom's life a lot, he was scared of driving that car in the first movie, then he pushed himself and later we see Dom improving on his skills, and living his love of driving exclusively muscle cars personalized by him.
To this day "You embarrass me" with Vin Disel's vocal inflections still makes me smile.
It's just not about Brian and Dom, Its about Paul and Vin...

Brian isn’t a Buster anymore… the real Buster is Vince… aka The King Of The Busters…. Brian I feel isn’t one, he just finished the 1/4 mile race before we did. Shame we won’t see him again until the street racing afterlife, what I do know is when I see Brian I’m gonna ask him about those three Honda Civics with Spoon Engines, as well as the T-66 Turbos and Nos, the MoTec system exhaust, and see if he found those Civics with the Mashamoto ZX Tires and the green neon glow under the chassis.

They should have ended after 5. There was no topping that story, and closure. It was therapeutic for fans, and I'm sure for Paul's cast mates. Everyone got to say goodbye. Perfect.

The last scene, so when see you again starts playing couldve been the perfect ending to the franchise. However how they handled it in fate of the furious is really bad. "We said we wouldnt involve Brian and Mia into this" As if Brian wouldnt be there if they needed him.. And calling Doms kid Brian also made no sense since in the fast and furious world Brian is still alive. They shouldve named the kid either Paul or Walker. Wouldve made more sense tbh

Calling the child Little Brian works honestly, as it’s their little boy and from what I recall Mia and Doms dad was named Jack so it’s a good way to honour both.

Also notice they aren't racing and driving slow, in professional circuits they a slow lap to honor a racer if he dies on the track. Also what is poetic is that Paul and Vin were in Vin's words brothers in real life. Not biologically mind you but they were brothers
