Something you might not know about this show, the bass he’s playing is the exact one he used in the Beatles, first time he’s played that exact bass live in decades live
These dudes are 85 & 82 and still rocking hard! We've probably got around 5-8 more years until they won't be able to do it anymore. Enjoy these last few years folks
Exactly! People are whining about Ringo not playing alone and even Paul's voice They've stood against the test of time and drugs, smoke, and booze It is amazing they can stand and walk at this age, let alone play gigs, run and jump in the shows
I was at Dodger Stadium in 2019 when Paul brought out Joel Walsh and Ringo to play those exact two songs .. my face hurt for a few days after because of how long and hard I was smiling .. it's always a great night when you have 50% of the Beatles in front of you .. .
@andrewshadowy2025 I was annoyed because I went to the Manchester one and then Ringo appears at the London one a few days later but I didn't realise there were multiple shows at London. He's done this before so I guess you have to get a ticket for the final show of the tours to see him
This should have happened in 2022 for the final show of his tour in NJ but a covid issue stopped Ringo from being available. At least we had Bruce Springsteen
Now THAT is EPIC!! Pauls band is the same as when we saw him here in San Diego June of 2019. We were 19th row dead center. No one has any idea how great they sound together unless you hear it in person IMO. First time seeing him and would love to see him again. 3 hours and 5-6 instruments later....we were blown AWAY!! They are STELLAR!! WTG RINGO!!
Many peoples of all over the world were moved by the sight of two stars from past popular legend band playing for performance after holding hands and hug.
Wow amazing. I was at the 02 6 years ago when Ringo and Ronnie Wood was also suprise guests at Macca gig. Want to be there this year but the tickets was very expensive and it was not possible to get ticket anyway. Hope he tour again next year
@@jsebastianst I'm aware of that. It'd be nice just to hear Ringo on drums. It's not complicated. The whole point of him being there is to play with Paul.
@@jsebastianstMuch longer than that. Ringo has to go back and forth from the drums to out front to sing his songs with his "All-Starr Band" so he needs another drummer to hold the fort. Better to have 2 sets of drums than to alternate one manning one set.
In the 70's that was ridiculous, but nowadays he almost cant play. Hes almost not doing any drumfills. If he was alone, he would have spoiled that song
This is cool and all but can't help but feel like it woulda been waaaay cooler if they went into "With A Little Help From My Friends" and included the "I got blisters on my fingers" line like it wouldn't take much to make those changes and they'd turn this performance up to an 11
That's gotta be humiliating for Ringo to have Paul's drummer above playing as well. The dude couldn't have sat out for 2 songs? Sounds like Paul doesn't have any confidence in Ringo's playing any longer... When Foo Fighters brought out Nandi, you didn't see Taylor playing as well...he stepped aside for the song.
Why does Paul’s drummer feel the need to play too? It’s not the first time I’ve seen him do that. If I was in his position I would have stood back and let Ringo handle the drums by himself. (Edit- looking at some other comments, there’s a suggestion Ringo’s drumming these days would be like getting Pete Best back.)
Ringo's 84 The other drummer is Abe, Paul's drummer Ringo clearly is unable to play like before mainly because I don't think he practiced Another reason maybe his age
@@tentmantent Yeah, I know, but it's Ringo fucking Starr and they played together even before I was born 60 years ago. So I guess he's capable of drumming alone.
Paul mccartney, who famous long time ago, a remember as a young boy that he played in a band called the wigs, Paul played guitar and singing, not bad but it was amateur, the were playing with a full pa and big speaker, and the olso played on TV, more than ones,

That’s the stolen one?
@@adriancamilleri4845 NOt that one, but he did pull the the stolen one out and play Get Back with Ron Wood.
That's not the one he's playing in this video but he did use it for a couple other songs at this gig
The best octogenarian musicians in the world. This meeting is historic. Being able to see 2 Beatles playing is a blessing from God...
Not to forget Mick Jagger & Mickey Hart!

I was there, I can only call it one word.
Legendary.
Me too. What an honour, and what a gift to the world that man is. A legend, yet still massively underrated.
@@AlbLepRin so jealous, I’ve seen Paul many times since 1990 and Ringo once but not together.
Me too. Still can't quite believe it.

The perfect ending to a great night, The best concert ever
He didn't do the Golden slumbers medley???

And on another note, the rolling Stones have a new album coming out in February. It's already been nominated for album of the Year for the Grammys.

This should have happened in 2022 for the final show of his tour in NJ but a covid issue stopped Ringo from being available. At least we had Bruce Springsteen
You’re just jealous lmao, he got sick in October and that show was in June. Also I went to that last show

Súper 👍👏
We got this privilege at O2 show 2018. And ronnie Wood
Why couldn't they let ringo drum by himself?
Ringo still got it.He plays his own thing like nobody does.
Great stuff but do you think they could have let Ringo handle the drumming duties for those two songs alone so we could hear him?
ringo always play with another drummer for some reason. he can play but its his personal choice i guess
WTH He doesn't need another drummer! Should have sat this one out!
Paul please come to Ireland
Sure they hate the English
I'd love to see Paul and Ringo play with The Rolling Stones someday, even though they no longer have a bassist or drummer.
Is that the legendary bass found...?
Not in this clip, but he did play it earlier in the set, it's first on-stage appearance in decades!
Good grief, it sends a chill through you doesn't it?
Ringo Starr yes great very good America yes today in very nice the

Does there ALWAYS have to be another drummer playing with Ringo. The whole point of being on stage with Paul is him playing off of Paul.
He usually has another drummer playing at the same time as him for the last few years, even in his solo shows
@@jsebastianst I'm aware of that. It'd be nice just to hear Ringo on drums. It's not complicated. The whole point of him being there is to play with Paul.

Because he's actually a shit drummer so his drums turned down anyway.
In the 70's that was ridiculous, but nowadays he almost cant play. Hes almost not doing any drumfills. If he was alone, he would have spoiled that song
why are there two drummers? Cant even hear Ringo playing sadly.
It appears that the stage microphones were hooked up to the main performer behind and Ringo was for show, their timing appeals to be quite accurate
....open your F**kin’ ears soft lad!....I could hear Ringo’s drumming!...The man is a F**kin’ LEGEND!!...
Wondered the same
Can hear Ringo, but I think RIngo may have asked for the other guy to be on it
so groß wie beim ersten mal, vielleicht sogar ein bisschen besser. Richard wie man ihn kennt voll dabei; er ist einfach Schlagzeug.
Ringo toca mas que Abe Laboriel Jr.!!!

I agree that was kind of cringe, but maybe RIngo asked for it ?
I doubt it was. The man is 84 years old. He knows his limits.
I feel a bit disappointed as I went to the Wednesday show but had no Ringo or Ronnie
Ringo, other magic cigarrete????
Why are there two drummers?...
An 84 year old on drums is not going to have the power and precision the song needs. The other drummer is just to help carry the song.

Why is that other dude also drumming
Bring out Ringo, play Sgt Pepper's, DON'T follow with Little Help From My Friends?? 😣😂

Just like riding a bike
WHY is the other drummer playing..??? Ringo gets Lost ..😮!!!!! Just my opinion
Ringo's 84
The other drummer is Abe, Paul's drummer
Ringo clearly is unable to play like before mainly because I don't think he practiced
Another reason maybe his age
Only why the drummer of Paul's band felt the need to play alongside Ringo, don't tey trust the old man to play alone?
He didn't 'feel the need'. That was how it was planned. Guest drummers rarely play on their own.
@@tentmantent Yeah, I know, but it's Ringo fucking Starr and they played together even before I was born 60 years ago. So I guess he's capable of drumming alone.

Hey Catpiss!...How the F**k do you Know??...
Po co łysy na perkusji grał, skoro Ringo grał? ;)
The other drummer needed to stop playing. You do not play over Ringo!
I hate when they bring up "the drummer" and then it's Ike alright play along with our drummer at a little less volume on your kit. So dumb.
Still rocking good❤
