If you want a noise maker just go to the party store and buy a kazoo. For about a dollar. Then go buy a case of beer with the $14 you saved. This is not a radio telescope...it is a satellite antenna.
Thank you for your comment! So I'm not sure if your can analyze signals on your Mac/PC with this telescope. However, if you purchase a satellite signal meter (like this one: www.walmart.com/ip/Satellite-Finder-Original-SF-95-Analog-Signal-Satellite-Meter-Dish-with-950-2150MHz-Frequency/932437030) you will be able to monitor the fluctuations, and you could record your observations in your laptop from there! Hope this helps!
You can't actually, Low Noise Breakers or Inshort LNBs are made to capture a limited frequency rate and it is not any telescope as per definition, it is just an satellite dish with signal meter which is used to get notified when we got any signal from satellite, not from space 🙂 sorry but nice attempt.
thank you for this video. i just watched the SETI WOW signal and i looked up how to build a small one. is there a way to hook this up to my laptop and record the sounds?
Parabolic reflectors preserve phase, so don't have any significant destructive interference. They also focus to a single point. Elliptical reflectors cause aberrations in the image and deal with much more destructive interference, but they are typically far cheaper to manufacture
I think that may be possible through A/D conv. and a base to the antenna that can be milimetric controled in 3 dimensions with stepmotors or something like. After get this data de can work to map this signals to an image
Measure the width of the disk in centimeters, then check band charts for full, and quarter wave lenths. Those that fall within the range of your disk, you will be able to pick up. Those outside of the range will interfere. Signal splitters and an array of band pass filters will weed those out, or you can hock them in line, one at a time as you sample. You will then need a shunt to ground, and a transceiver to connect to your laptop. The shunt will protect the laptop from a spike in energy, and the transceiver to track the signal strength.
People like you, are already fool, he doesn't need to fool a fool person First go & learn what exactly a simple radio telescope is & what are the processes to make the telescope, then only come here to poop
U are an indian, Well anyways You have alot to tell about ur country to ur friends . U need to know u can ask me . Ok You are two years older from when u have posted this vdo. Keep growing
neighbor just threw out satellite dish, came across this video, stole the dish from trashcan
haha!
Awesome!! 😆
Follow roofers around at apartment complexes. They throw satellite dishes away by the truckload.
Thought for a moment I picked up VY Canis Majoris but it was my dish washer 👀
why is this comment so funny

Bro I recommend you to build a radio telescope with good precision by making it movable for every pixel and also how we can image that in your pc
What is the use of radio telescope
You have no idea how much I was desperate for this video

not even an antenna : signal transmitter pointless
can u help sir?
LMAO this video sucks 😂😂
True
so true. its a tracker of a signel all it is.. i just dont get these people. tho a dish can be used . theres more to this then what he has done.
Cool video! Love the content! I’d love to see more DIY!
could you hook it up to an oscilloscope?
Yes
Ωmega ... omg
How do you read the signals on a laptop

I use SDR Console or you can use SDR Sharp

WHY TIS CHANNEL HAVE ONLY 141 SUBS??? CHANNEL IS AMAZING!!!
Aww thank you so much!!! Appreciate ya!

Why parabolic antenna is preferred over elliptical antenna?? For astronomy

Is there a way to get it on a servo to track? Does anybody know how to do this
very nice how to get started video. 😎 now what to do with it to get cool images of out there stuff. 🧐 thanks.
how do you get image of object in space using radio telescope?
I was just the same thing. Do you connect to a computer, tv, what?

@@HenriqueVilelaMusic yes
can far stuff with such as stars
So simple to make and use! Listen to what's in space and then build a bigger radio telescope. It'll give you knowledge for the future!
what frequency band does the disk use? does it really matter? i want to build this
C-band, Ku-band & Ka-band
Measure the width of the disk in centimeters, then check band charts for full, and quarter wave lenths. Those that fall within the range of your disk, you will be able to pick up. Those outside of the range will interfere. Signal splitters and an array of band pass filters will weed those out, or you can hock them in line, one at a time as you sample. This is not a radio telescope, this is just a TV satellite receiver , if not show us how to reçeive astronomic data with this staff?😮
First go & learn what exactly a simple radio telescope is & what are the processes to make the telescope, then only come here to poop
Is it possible to listen to LGM-1 with this telescope?
Whats the utility?
I was trying to share some related links but it would not let me post them. Your Walmart link is broken.
Could I now watch Galaxy on my television?😁😁
Can i hear radio waves coming from black holes
No because black holes are too far away, so their radio waves are too big for that kind of telescope
Wow dear, knowledge video 💖💖💖,🙏 thank you 😊❤️ for sharing 🎁🎁🎁🎁🎉🎉🎉
Nice updates about human evolution
Hello sir I need your help
What is a telescope? ??
Wow made us fool nicely by making satellite detector instead of radio telescope.

not a radio telescope . fail .
Not a radio telescope indeed! Whith this setup you will just detect geostationary satellites!
