This is my favorite build. I have been tinkering with using the crit aura instead of the cooldown aura, partly because almost all Psykers use the cooldown aura and it does not stack. But also because getting Anticipation is actually better than the Toughness DR given that you build peril so slowly using the purg staff and want to keep peril mid-to low in order to use BB in when you are out of stacks of EP. The extra dodge distance and speed is awesome.
Does the node that saids when you crit you count as dodging ranged attacks work for blessings that say you get x if successfully dodging? If so could you go force sword instead get 20 % extra crit from "dodging". If you do that, crit aura, crit perk, crit in tree, and base crit that is like 42.5 % crit chance per attack so practically every other attack you could also apply soul blaze. You it be worth it to use force sword instead to keep the soul blaze a going when using melee when staff put up ? My thinking is do a couple of regular staff attacks real quick switch to melee and super fast super fire.
Yes, Empathic Evasion triggers from melee attacks too. However, if you're counting on that talent to save you from gunners, you're still safer when using this staff because it can reach the same level of crit chance and attacks way faster, giving more chances to proc in the same amount of time.
I don't find 1 stamina too useful as you're not blocking THAT much and Kinetic Deflection without it is enough already. I myself find that 2 toughness curios and 1 HP is the sweet spot for me. Gunshots don't immediately chip into HP if I react fast enough, and I still have some HP to defend against toughness-bypassing stuff like Poxbursters.
Nice upload dude. This is my favourite build in the game. If you would be willing, I would be very appreciative at some point of a deep dive into this build with your thoughts in which perks, blessings, gameplay tactics, and skills are best suited to it.
Never sell yourself short! Playing at the highest difficulty and then doing solo/duo runs is honestly the quickiest way to improve in this game (if you already have the basics down). Just hit us up on Discord if you ever wanna join in on the fun!
I really hope they fix performance cuz games basically unplayable on higher difficulties on console and its been this way since last update. Insane we have new content dropping in ten days and the game constantly crashes almost every game on xbox. You may crash 4 times a game or you may not crash at all and its a gamble im not willing to take anymore. No point in playing really. Im gonna try to play malice and see if thats even possible but I doubt it. Lower difficulties are fine so it has something to do with the spawns or the overload of enemies on the screen or it could be something totally different idk really.
What new content is coming? I agree about the performance though I’m on Xbox. Was probably 5 minutes from getting master of golden storm and 3 of us crashed got back in game people are dead. Made me want to smash my controller lol

I was trying to cheese it just for the penance points and it never tracked. I dont even wear titles i genuinely just wanted those 20 points and it never tracked but most people have cheesed it somehow. Theirs new content coming the 25th. Two handed ogryn axe, power maul for human characters and atleast a new map. We dont know what else because we dont have a preview but that probably comes later this week.

Yeah once you have the blessing that gives you higher crit chance at higher peril, you just crit all day by edging.

Yeah if you know that you have another Psyker that's already running the cooldown reduction aura, feel free to run something else!
