"The worm does not die." Every worm I lined up against the wall and had shot said the exact same thing during the human/worm war of August 12, 1987. You're not a worm, are you? Everyone else may have forgotten about your crimes against humanity perpetuated in the name of wormhood supremacy, but I haven't and I can't have any loose ends running around either. So...are you?
@@MysterySmell No I imagine once the worms out it goes through a process like this. Insect “ what where am I what am I doing here it it out why does my abdomen hurt?”
Yeah a video on the Afrotherians, Tethytheres, or all the Paenungulates would be neat. Sirenians are so weird, people don't talk about how they adapted to life in the water nearly as much as they talk about cetaceans. There is a fossil sirenians called Pezosiren from Jamaica that had four thick, stocky limbs. It was probably like a hippo or something, a semiaquatic animal that could still easily walk around. It's a shame the Stellar's sea cow went extinct about a mere century after it was introduced to science. Whalers in the Bering Sea killed it off, it was defenseless, it would float near the surface because it was so fat and buoyant, and whalers just slaughtered them. They were so strange, they apparently had no hands for some reason. Their arms ended in stumps. The arm bone just ended, no wrist or finger bones. I've never heard of any other tetrapod that has that feature.
Im studying English and your videos are really awesome and an enjoyable way to learn cuz i love the evolution of spices. Your chanel is so underrating.
My interest began on reading Dawkins : The Ancestor's Tale. It is beautifully illustrated with drawings and photos. I did study biology in school, but it was entirely mechanical. Neither teacher nor student had incentive to be curious. While watching the video, I miss the tree branching by features. I simplify the tree as two branches panarthropods and lophotrochozoa. It is the base of the tree that needs more emphasis and relationship to evolved "worms"
Velvet Worms are So Awesome, it's neat to think about just how long they've been around. Surprised i don't hear about how we are trying to replicate the efficiency of that glue stuff they shoot out to use as some type of adhesive or patch or something. 😄👍

It's time for humans to stop weirding out anything and everything! And use more respectful terms to describe life around us. Other than getting the views, the way we portray things, impact others. Specially in the intent to preserve life or disregard it! Knowing that life as we know it is tightly connected to their existence!

In a sense, we are *all worms - long tubes that run from mouth to anus with some fancy appendages around the tube. Fantastic video BTW. * Except for flatworms, corals and some other simple animals, where the tube only has one opening.
Worms are so underrated. They are older than the permian period and refuse to give a crap what happens to the earth. The worm does not die.
And every man carries one around

Aye, even in Hell the worm dieth not. So sayeth the Scriptures.
A little correction @ 3:30. It is possible for the host insect to survive the process (given that it doesn’t drown of course)
and some host are far more likely to live

Why does it have some content from Journey to the microcosmos?
Yeah I noticed that too, I don't know how to feel about that, like it looses credibility
