    I've always wanted to learn to knit! Thank you so much, these videos (and the timestamps) are FaBuLoUs!! I'll have to figure out how to read patterns I hope you cover this somewhere too!

      Oh wonderful!! Yes we will cover patterns as we go. Be sure to always click the blog in the video descriptions and read. We will link to any patterns for the week. Our first pattern is super simple and as the lessons go by you will see I’m adding building blocks of learning to read and understand basic and beginner patterns and styles. Take the lessons as fast or slow as you wish. 😁❤️ So glad you joined us. All my best to you, you’ve got this!

      Make sure you purl only on ozone side of the knitting and knit on the other side. Use a stitch marker and clip it on the Knit side to mark the Right Side. Purl only on the Wrong Side (the opposite side is just called the wrong side)

    Just curious, do people just purl like we did just the knit stitch in lesson 1?

    • @GoodKnitKisses
      @GoodKnitKisses  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      One side is the knot stitch in lesson 1. But the other side is all purls. The stitch is made different. When you consistently Purl only on one side and knit only on the other side then you get the stockinette stitch pattern. I think it’s best to mark one side with a stitch marker pinned to it and only knit on that one side. The other side without one is purled. I hope that helps.
