3 Reasons To Buy | Hero Karizma XMR FAQ #2

- เผยแพร่เมื่อ 22 เม.ย. 2024
- Three reasons to buy the Hero Karizma XMR. First, it looks good. No matter where we went, people would take notice of the Karizma, usually with at least some hint of admiration in their eyes. If that's the sort of attention you think should come with riding a sportsbike, the Karizma XMR will do nicely. Second, price. At around ₹1.8 lakh ex-showroom, and being a 210cc motorcycle, the Karizma does appear to be a lot of motorcycle for the money. We don't think it's the best you can do on that kind of budget, but it certainly does feel like a VFM purchase. Third, the handling. We've said before that Hero's able to make excellent chassis setups with a great blend of ride and cornering ability and the Karizma cements that impression further. It's super light and flickable in feel and this is the one aspect of the Karizma that is inescapably likeable.

You gave me THREE good reasons to buy this machine... I just can't control myself to book this. Your words means a lot ⛓️⚓
Just go and buy it. You will love it for sure.
4th reason - it is the fastest bike in the 200cc segment
bro you can get maverick for 2lakh ex showroom
@@renuchander5379 maverick is not a sports bike
@@kamilsaifi7974 i know but its alot powerful then xmr
Twenty years ago I rooted for bajaj to dethrone hero when they launched Pulsar and discover. As years passed I think hero is better even if it is slow in product development.
How the hell is SplendorCorp better than Bajaj or TVS
@@Account-nx3ui look at bajaj product lineup 10-12 pulsars sharing the same body with different engines and tbh the NS is 12 years old now and does not have that wow factor anymore
@@anabolicbrah true but look at Bajaj they have atleast got that legacy and reputation. And ns has been updated quite a lot this year same with other pulsars.
@@Account-nx3ui they haven't made a NS successor that's all. I hope they make the new ns 400 standout from the current pulsar lineup
@@anabolicbrah yeah I agree with Bajaj is slow in rolling out new models
It's a great machine owning it for past 4 months... It pulls like a jet, very flickable... 35-40 mileage and no issues whatsoever.. the buy experience is mediocre you don't get a good showroom experience but service is good.
Hero isn't a premium Company but they say they are transitioning by releasing the maverick so maybe it might improve in the future
Service centre jao tab pata lagega ki ye kya bekaar service hai
Exactly true, it feels like we are buying a commuter segment bike. Hero really need to work hard on it to provide a premium experience to Karizma XMR buyers.

Crazy response with acceleration.
Best 210 cc I'd say
Agreed! One of the best 200cc Bike.
Im looking into this bike.. can you pls share ur experience regarding service and suspension 😄
Isn't the throttle way too linear?
@@bigfatbub I reside in Mumbai so here the service centre & the people who work are supportive towards us! And talking about the suspension it's good in terms of bad roads the potholes at night sometimes do give the impact if you're on a high speed but in low speed you won't feel much of the stiffness it goes way smooth
@@stevemartis97 it's fine you can feel the power of 200cc here
That red colour is 🤌🏽🤌🏽
Yeah matte red even TVS had it in 2017. They launched rtr 160, 180 and 200 in matte red. there is an ad which shows them and it is so hot
It looks Burgundy more than Red
@@sanjith.k1983 with a hint of light brown

I guess all the colors are awesome. I bought the Black one.
Ever since I managed to see a karizma irl i've wanted one its a beautiful machine!!
It is love at first sight. Always.
I love how you portray your Reviews and Backgrounds for bikes...
Thanks a ton TIB! We'll pass your compliments on to the team!
Engine looks reduced from 223cc to 210cc; in fact 223 was little on noisier side. Looks great ❤
Yes but the difference is not visible in the performance, it still is a beast even better I would say.
Can't wait for this engine to be dropped into a new Xpulse!!
That would be a disaster. Xpulse needs Torquey motor, not a high revving unit.
Hero will, after tweaking the engine output to suit the character of xpulse
@@Snazees currently the engine in xpluse is not a torquee engine. With this 210 engine the low end will be more punch. But still its high rev engine no doubt in that
@@Snazees with a different set of tune it could do wonders the current engine in xpulse is under powered and doesn't do justice to the bike
Fastest bike in segment ❤
This shade of red looks delicious

Hi Shumi, love your content and I'm a regular listener on Spotify. I just bought Karizma XMR, its my first Sports Bike. I upgraded from CB Shine 125. I'm loving it, as it is beginner friendly bike. I ride it 80-90 kms daily for my office up-down.
I would love to get some advice from you on "How to be a better beginner sports bike rider?" Because I know I need to learn a lot of skills, however at this very moment whenever I ride me XMR it puts a very big smile on my face. I love riding it daily.
Congrats mate
Wish you a safe and happy miles.
Bro how much mileage you are getting in city and highway . And how’s the pillion comfort.
@@lordsalvatore3846 Thank you brother! 😇
@@harshsonwani3853 Great question. Initially when I was planning to upgrade from my Shine, it always stuck in my mind that I need to have a great mileage and pillion comfort.
Mileage: I have tested this beauty in various real life scenarios and here I'm mentioning it.
In city: In traffic and city commutes it returns 35 - 37 kmpl on regular basis.
On the Highway: If you drive to enjoy your ride and speed from 70 - 90/100 kmph, it will return 45 - 47 kmpl consistently.
If you ride it within the speed of 60 - 75/80 kmph, it will give you 55 - 57 kmpl (not kidding). And to my surprise on my way from office to home (40 kms) I have seen 60.7 kmpl mileage on my speedo many times.
PILLION COMFORT: Girlfriends, Friends, Siblings never complained about the comfort, it is adequate. But parents couldn't climb on it, even if seat is great, the reach-ability remains the issue. Aftermarket female footrest can solve this issue. The grabrails gives good confidence to pillion to hold on to, as it is within the reach.
Overall you will not be disappointed or will not regret your decision of buying it, but before you have to get used to it and develop your own sense of how you can establish a good communication with your bike and then it will be a match made in heaven.
@@mohitbhakre thanks , explained very well
XMR looks way better in person than in pics....bike is bigger than what it looks in pucs
♥️
Saw this bike today on the roads of bangalore, looks absolutely beautiful, I would definetly choose this bike over bajaj and yamaha for sub 200cc
Thanks for letting us know @mohammedarham56!
Looks any day better than the slasher movie which is a certain Pulsar.

I agree it looks good! Own a matte phantom black and it's a head turner!

I test drove the bike and the way they keep their test drive vechicle is pathetic....it wasn't a very good experience... It was turning off on every corner... Meh I will pass
Turning off means stalling ?
@@Sushant9763 no it is a mix of two... , I test drove both X440 and xmr. xmr was stalling on every corner in slow speed. better than r15 v4?
Give me reasons to buy R15 Over this Beauty!
Some of the points I think are
*Although hero made a stupendous and a dynamic chasis I thinking still R15 belongs to another terrain altogether*
*Yeah Karizma is faster in straight line but I think R15 gives you a little more sports bike feel*
*Karizma should have got a little more Committed riding posture?*
What's your take on this @MotorInc ??😀😅
#MotorInc
R15 is purely a sports bike meant for track. Karizma is a sports tourer and commuter. Yeah you can tour on R15 but 95% of the people will stop touring on it after one journey.
Its not true. If you are an r15 owner and a daily commuter, you don't get any problem riding it at least 80 km on a single stretch, provided if you are not a fat or overweight. Then after a tea break you can ride another 80 or 100 depending on your physical strength. And there will not be any back pain like all peoples say. Its all a lie. And there will be some wrist pain and some shoulder pain and only if you are ride continuously over your physical limits. So take short breaks whenever you wanted. And two main reasons i like the r15 as a tourer is its suspension setup and its free revving nature. I like those above all...❤. Suspension tuning is top notch. Its stable in high speeds and also absorbing enough shocks. And can easily cruise on 120kmph.
@@user-xs4fg5li7v that's the damn point!!!! ❤❤
See folks If you are someone who gives priority to performance and commitment over comfort!! .you won't find a flaw in R15
Guys riding RE for years won't complaint on its vibrations/ heavy weight/less pickup.
So it's the perspective that matters!!
No offense to any fanbois!
If you are an enthusiast, you will like everything for its own charm!
Yellow or Red ?
Haven't seen single new Karizma on road in Bangalore
Thanks for letting us know!
I did today
Please make a long term review on this one
Looks stunning sideways, but not so good from the front
Thanks for sharing your perspective!
Maverick is also good product.
Please make videos in hunter.

Need top 5 bikes within 2L ex-showroom budget.
There's no such general list, Andrew. We're happy to work with your to find out what should go on your list, though
This bike's head light similar to old cbr fireblade 2009 to 10 model
👍🏽
I think hero have need to work on front look
But over all everything is good
Only few yellow bike in India 💛
💛
I really don't like the front headlight after looking at small lights at the center.. Looks like spider eyes
well ngl i took a test drive yesterday and i took a ride of more than 2 kms tbh i didn't feel like replacing my pulsar 180 which is already 9 years old to this bike xmr it just felt soo under powered
Yes, that feeling is very difficult to accept too, Aditya!
plus it is a Indian brand
Guys can u answer me which is good in seating comfort? XMR or RC 200 ?
Something like that depends on a lot of factors @pawanvinjamuri5219. If you're thinking of getting either, we'd encourage you to take a test ride.
Any reason why hero skipped USD for XMR? Xtreme has it so why not this one?
No explanations offered, but while it doesn't affect the ride/handling experience, it's a value miss for sure Siddant
Hey this bullsheet, they have done a blunder with Karisma..it doesn’t look as matured as the older one.. Krizma was meant to be a big bike as such for long tours- the new one is for kids
Thanks for sharing your perspective AVP!
The second point, can you guys suggest what other motorcycles offer similar value to be a first bike that does almost everything a beginner needs for this price segment
We are happy to help! What bikes are you considering Kiran?
@@motorinc I am actually looking for a bike in this segment which i could keep for a long time which would keep me engaged for a long time before i upgrade. Before the xmr I was looking at the rtr 200. And the Duke 250 was also on my list . Do you guys have any suggestions on other bikes i should consider.
That's a good selection! Get test rides and ping us? Since you're testing the Duke 250, might be worth checking out the Vitpilen 250 too!

What would be your top pick in 2 lakhs for city commute, looks and touring once in a while?
What bikes are you considering Jatin?
@@motorinc I'm highly confused in hunter 350,n 250, rtr 200
Get test rides, Jatin! We think the RTR200 will win out over the other two, but all three have solid positives for sure!
Ab to Bhai cgl de hi do😅😂
It feels lite because the body fairing quality is really cheap and light weight. Resently got to try it and the entire body feels cheaply build and used cheap plastic.
Thanks for sharing your perspective @kyaraS400_rider!
Can you suggest me one for Long rides under 2L ❤
Which aspect do you want most ? comfort , mileage, power. Remember you can't have all in one
1 reason not to consider, Service Interval, I don't to visit the showroom every second month and service my motorcycle.
Thanks for sharing your perspective Siva!
Who is buying plastic bike these days ?
They make different sounds every other day.
I would rather prefer metal bike with more life value.
Karisma vs R15 which one is best
We'd get the Yamaha for sure
Old karizma was a gem. Much more good looking then this one
♥️
I still own Karizma R 2013 ❤ still a beast

Are usd forks needed on this bike?
No, but in value terms that 160R has them, but this 210 does not.

You'll see our perspective on this very shortly, Manoj!
@@motorinc eagerly waiting for that.
So Schumi, what can you so better for 1.8 lacs??
We're here to help: What bikes are you considering?
@@motorinc to be honest I'm happy with my Jawa 42. Since you said there are better options at 1.8 lacs, I just wanted to know which ones you think make the cut
You won't like this, but the 42 is near the bottom of the class so most bikes at that price point would probably be better. Apologies in advance - and we're very happy you're enjoying your riding!
@@motorinc Hey not at all. As you had mentioned once, the best bike for you is the one YOU like and ride. I have no regrets on the Jawa 42. I wanted a retro cruiser, I got a retro cruiser.....the bike spoke to me on the test ride and so I bought it. Resale value, public perception and all that be damned....😄
Pulsar ns400 z any day better
Okay 👍🏾

reason no4 it can beat overated r15 with ease
Can we go off road on this bike...
Light off-roading should be fine but this is a sports bike and is not equipped to handle proper off-roading @mangalabaragali6868
Still concerned about build issues and reliability
This takes time to garantee

Awesome bike.
Strangely difficult to find on roads
Please tell someone combine the deadpool and wolverine colurscheme😂
🤣
Still buyers gave least priority to choose karizma. Hero should do more marketing. Right now they have decent collection of their product.
Front look not nice
I am waiting for the same engine in the upcoming Xpulse bois. Who's with me!
Man, how bad they missed with that headlight design... *sigh*
Didn't like the headlight?
Bruh that headlight is dope💎
This is just my personal opinion the name of the company HERO and the name Karizma sounds very childish for the product and might refrain from people buying it
Well that's certainly a new take @modapunyo310. 🤔 Thanks for sharing.
Need your view on Mavrick 440
My BS3 RS200 eats Karizma for breakfast everyday
Must be a costly diet @calmpeaceandserenity8077! How do you manage?
@@motorinc 🤣🤣🤣🤣I'm a big fan of the RS brother , it's high revving ktm engine feels like a turbocharger ,
Which sadly Karizma can never offer
If they just change two things 1.} Give usd forks 2.} Make this naked n full ferring n i bet this will blow the sales sky rocket , naked one will be great .✌️🗿

Looks beautiful ❤
♥️
Xmr is an really beautiful bike i mean wow
I don't see anything unique than just copying here and their to create a new bike it's the thing hero motocorp do in recent years
I think the newly updated Bajaj pulsar n250 makes more sense in terms of value as well as power.Except for the looks where the Karizma wins over hands down
Yes, but from Front it should be Wider like a Ducati 🏍️💤
Why not put that engine on the xpulse too that bike's so gutless
Please don’t forward this video to those who have displayed spine to purchase the Hero Maverick 440
Why what do you think will happen @hotice31?
@@motorinc deep sense of loss will be experienced by Maverick owner because this bike looks so much better, almost as if it’s Hero’s own while the Maverick is their stepchild.
Understood! Thanks!
Hero has a pathetic sales/marketing team. Twice I visited for a test drive but they did not have a vehicle!! Months after launch.
The front look is just a big turn off
One and foremost reason not to buy, a very very bad suspension setup for those who want to push or ride like what the bike is intended to
