My wishlist for Devil Jin adjustments is Buffs: - df1 being -4 on block and having a mid extension. And a -1 high extension since you can crouch it. - cancellable 1+2 like T7 (idk why they even removed that). - 1.5x increase to the range of Demon Paw. - crouchdash out of Demon Lance charge-up. - little extra range to hellsweep and neutral Heat Smash. - i25 or i26 cd1+2. - MC Heat Smash should remove recoverable health. - Fly extension on block for Samsara, like in T7. Make it -17 on block when used. - A way to pull back from MC kinda like Kazumi did with her float in T7. (That might be asking for too much though) Nerfs: - Half charged Demon Lance should NOT be +24 at the wall, especially if he ends up getting a cd extension. The +17 he gets in the open is beyond fine. - Samsara's right side tracking is a little bit silly imo. Reducing it would be necessary if he gets his Fly stance on block back. - Hellsweep relaunch at the wall looks like it was not supposed to be there. While it is cool, I'd take that away in favor of his other options. - MC Heat Smash doing even less damage would be ok with me as long as the formerly mentioned buff is applied. Everything else can stay the same imo. I don't think he'd be among the best of the Mishimas, but at least he'd stand a chance.
My suggestions for Devil Jin buffs aside from what you nailed in the video (df1 buff and Demon's Paw range buff): • Make wavedash 1+2 a few frames faster • Bring back the range (not tracking) of the psycho-crusher rage art • Damage buff to one of his two hellsweeps (preferably the launching hellsweep) Honestly, I don't know what else I would add here. However, Jin needs nerfs more than Devil Jin needs buffs. Still, #buffdeviljin

Great video. Mishimas haven't been weak since Tekken 6br. TTT2 brought them back to life and they've been strong ever since. Jin going from a specialist character to a pick-up-and-play character was a good move. Unfortunately he's just annoying to play against at all levels and I hope he gets the nerf that's coming to him because I think the many complaints are legitimate.
I think devil jin's case is, the developer is kinda confused abt devil jin's attacking gameplan. That's why his tools are kinda unbalanced. All they need is to watch the devil jin's player replays and review them. I'm sure they can see what the players are struggling with
6:08 iam sorry bro but landing more than one 3.1 cancel is almost impossible due to timing/window being so strict compared to CNT kazuya where 3.1 cancels we're usable for wall-travel, when i hit 2x 3.1 cancel in online match i feel like a winner, but its not reliable at all. His wall-travel is still really poor compared to TK7 kazuya, Classic execution expect PEWGF is gone, DF+1 has hitbox so strict that 90% of kazuya players will still go for 2x EWGF -> 3.1 route, because its reliable. His wall-travel starts to shine only when you're able to pull out 3x EWGF to df1.2 micro-dash because you got full 3.1 into cancel without delaying.
Reina has a hellsweep that does like 30 dmg, gives +6 and puts her in stance. She also has low pokes that don't get her killed on block like ss4 db4. Heihachi only really has cd4 which goes into a mixup with a low launcher and a mid. As well as db3 for lows. Since db2 is reactable to good players.
How are heihachi's lows bad when he can launch you from his hellsweep into an electric combo for like 70 dmg? Seems like a nice combo route to have to me
she has some lows but also the unbreakable grabs those have basically the same porpuse and lets not act like her hellsweep cant put u into a blender by canceling out of the stance with a cd and doing a hellsweep again
Honestly not suprised that Keisuke beat Uslan, Drag is pretty bad into Kazuya as Kazuya can just launch all of his lows. Even JDCR agreed with me and other strong Kazuya players
I don’t buy the devil Jin being trash narrative. I know he has his weaknesses but what does not have besides solid poking? His mids are good, he has a throw game, guard break he can use whenever he wants, good crouch punishment, zoning tools, really good reversal, the best hellsweep, & the best electric
devil jin players would probably say something like "his mids sucks because uf4 doesnt knockdown" "ff2 has no pushback on block" "hellsweep sucks because cd4,1+2 combo does recoverable damage and gives no oki. cd44 also sucks because it only does 35 dmg."
bro no kidding i was going to drop tekken because my favorite was was dragunov but watching everyone play it because he is OP make me sad, i played drag in tekken 7. but after watching the trailer of heihachi GOD DAM ( oh sorry i forgot to mention my second favorite character was heihachi i tekken 7).
The reason they destroyed Devil jin is because of the feedback off all the noobs who played tekken for the first time calling him broken. This is my last tekken.
He has been a mishima in terms of gameplay just his tools side step weakness is flipped to otherside. Tekken 8 Jin however is much more different than other mishimas compared to older Tekkens
Jin is not a tournament ready character in Tekken 8. You'll only see him in the hands of purists, but he is not winning anything; he has too many exploitable weaknesses for tournament.
Jin was really cool in T7. now he's one of that dumb ass character that can get you a win with minimal effort. seriously a stance that gets you auto electric? that's a disrespect to ewgf
Devil Jin isn’t even CLOSE to the worst character in the game The worst character in the game was probably raven !! Who just got a 15 frame launcher like what !! And jack -8 fuckn sucks too! And leo is almost trash too. Bruh. And the bears? There’s a LINE of characters that are worse than devil Jin . Omg stop complaining already
@@KoufalKoufax so apply that to every character in the game could you have had more of a brain dead response? Rank up before you start giving people your opinion
Heihachi may be fun to play as, but not against him. Why does he have the same damage as Kuma with his moveset? I met Heihachi in ranked who, starting a combination, would kick you across the entire arena and practically destroy your entire HP bar at once. And yes, I know it can be dodged, but that doesn't justify it doing too much damage.
to get that kind of damage is a product of high execution, shit lows and shit tracking. He is very balanced. That high damage doesnt comes easy unless you do electrics well which is a very difficult thing to do. Also his poking is weak which is why he is not played in tournaments.

How are Reina's lows better than Heihachi's?
Reina has a hellsweep that does like 30 dmg, gives +6 and puts her in stance. She also has low pokes that don't get her killed on block like ss4 db4.
Heihachi only really has cd4 which goes into a mixup with a low launcher and a mid. As well as db3 for lows. Since db2 is reactable to good players.
My favorite Mishima is JINPACHI
How are heihachi's lows bad when he can launch you from his hellsweep into an electric combo for like 70 dmg? Seems like a nice combo route to have to me
I only like lars because he is a hybrid Mishima 😅
FREE DEVIL JIN
9:33 heresy. Dorrya for life
every mishima expect devil jin 😂😂, so sad for my main
The only thing that changed was that they made Reina swap positions with Heihachi, making Kazuya, Devil Jin, and Reina garbage.
What about my boy, Lars? He's technically a Mishima.
still.. his gameplay doesnt represents mishima at all... more like tekken force martial arts..
Unfortunately Kuma is more of a Mishima than Lars.
don't compare a monkey to a mishima!! >:((
lars was a mistake
9:14
>amazing poking
>no lows
she has some lows but also the unbreakable grabs those have basically the same porpuse and lets not act like her hellsweep cant put u into a blender by canceling out of the stance with a cd and doing a hellsweep again
It was five Mishimas, you forgot Kuma
T5DR Devil Jin, Kaz, Hei mains seeing this video right now 🤨
Honestly not suprised that Keisuke beat Uslan, Drag is pretty bad into Kazuya as Kazuya can just launch all of his lows. Even JDCR agreed with me and other strong Kazuya players
Mishimas are easy af now. All those Mishima sweats cannot make that argument anymore.
I don’t buy the devil Jin being trash narrative. I know he has his weaknesses but what does not have besides solid poking? His mids are good, he has a throw game, guard break he can use whenever he wants, good crouch punishment, zoning tools, really good reversal, the best hellsweep, & the best electric
devil jin players would probably say something like
"his mids sucks because uf4 doesnt knockdown"
"ff2 has no pushback on block"
"hellsweep sucks because cd4,1+2 combo does recoverable damage and gives no oki. cd44 also sucks because it only does 35 dmg."
jin being too op? oh ok no worry we nerf dvj instead of jin(help i am stuck at tekken emperor with dvj T_T)
Jin deserves nerfs big time
bro no kidding i was going to drop tekken because my favorite was was dragunov but watching everyone play it because he is OP make me sad, i played drag in tekken 7. but after watching the trailer of heihachi GOD DAM ( oh sorry i forgot to mention my second favorite character was heihachi i tekken 7).
I love Kazumi and misima family in tekken 7 but damn, Tekken 8 misima family is better
We forgetting about LARS? 🤨
An actual devil is weaker than his own mortal self😂
The reason they destroyed Devil jin is because of the feedback off all the noobs who played tekken for the first time calling him broken. This is my last tekken.
Yeah cool, but 4 viable mishimas + Jin. Add up the fact that the difficulty has been toned across the board to make up the most toxic timeline.
most mishima players never left tbh.
I don't see anyone besides keisuke playing kazuya at high level
Maybe make dj's b2 transition into mourning crow?
Hey where's Lars in your thumbnail bro? 😂
REPEAT AFTER ME..... REGULAR JIN IS NOT A MISHIMA. that is all. 😡😡😡😡😡😡😡
Tekken 9 Jin might return him to his roots
Too right man. And i dont also consider reina as one either. Just a wannabee mishima
I agree
He has been a mishima in terms of gameplay just his tools side step weakness is flipped to otherside. Tekken 8 Jin however is much more different than other mishimas compared to older Tekkens
Yea he shouldn't be in this video lol
Damn bro 3 views in one minute? Always knew you were washed
Did they ever leave??
Oh hell nah bro said Jin is a Mishima🤮
Jin ain’t a Mishima.
I do hope they fix DVJ, fam got overly nerfed too hard.
he has hellsweep , wavu , electric
His not a mishima@@agssilv5919
DVJ then it's not mishima am I right
Dvj is not on the thumbnails😢
Yeahhhh another video another sponsor. Congrats
T7 heihachi and kazuya where very strong u just need a little bit of skill I perfer t7 kazuya and heihachi I miss launching omens
JIN>>all mishima
Jinpachi
Devil Jin isn’t even CLOSE to the worst character in the game
The worst character in the game was probably raven !! Who just got a 15 frame launcher like what !!
And jack -8 fuckn sucks too!
And leo is almost trash too.
Bruh. And the bears? There’s a LINE of characters that are worse than devil Jin .
Omg stop complaining already
reina has only 1 presence in the twt world tour
Calling Heihachi a defense heavy character is WILD he is all offense
yeah sure go ungga bungga with him against a player who knows when to sidestep LOL learn his frames first before you come here spouting nonsense
@@KoufalKoufax so apply that to every character in the game could you have had more of a brain dead response? Rank up before you start giving people your opinion
Yeah be pure offense with a lot of -5 poking and terrible tracking what an all offense character
@@9052j another clown
@@The_Geni sure buddy, just lost an argument can't think another reply huh?
@@ChandanKumar-qc1iy
In my opinion, any character shouldn't have such high damage. He is popular now only because of that.
4:20 bro what was that💀💀
I play paul
Why do we talk abt this partygame as if its tekken 6 or 7
The make eddy very weak in tekken8
