This video is far much better than the official version. This is my "inspirational" song, knowing the back story.

Thank you. I love that Brian and Roger took these words to heart, and after a respectful break, they followed Freddie's wishes. But it's so sad that John was so broken by Freddie's death that he didn't feel able to continue making music without him. 💔

One of the times when Brian was visiting Freddie, Freddie noticed that Brian was not speaking much about what he was doing musically and he told him, you don't have to be uncomfortable talking to me about your music and what you are doing Brian, I don't want you to put your life on hold and I would never want to be the reason you were not continuing with your music. Freddie would come into the studio and beg the other band members to give him things to sing. Brian never really intended this to be a Queen song, but Freddie wanted to sing it and what a great job he did. I think this song was Brian's way of working through all that was going on with Freddie and the obvious end to the band, but not being able to just quit music or writing. I would suspect there would be a certain feeling of guilt but also that inner drive that artist have to continue with their art.

Thank you. I love them all, but I just can’t stand that Freddie passed and the hows and whys and I cry unexpectedly when I listen to the Innuendo album, or any of their or his songs really. He sang all those songs on the Innuendo album knowing he was going to die. He also recoded the Barcelona album at that time, before actually, and told Montserrat Caballe’ he wouldn’t be able to sing the “Barcelona” song live with her at the 1992 Olympics because “he wouldn’t be here anymore”. He was so strong and brave and vastly talented, right to the end. There could never be anyone who could replace him. Such a unique individual. Totally out of this world.

Awesome reaction! Yeah, I don't watch a lot of the "end stuff" because I know it's his "end stuff". That said, he work is quite beautiful. This video was a wonderful compilation of Freddie, happy & smiling & doing what he did best - performing his little heart out.

Tenuous link..Freddie sold Slade’s Noddy Holder his top hat when working on a market stall, Noddy added the mirrors and the rest is history which leads into a request to react to a Slade song. Cum on feel the Noize being a good one

Freddie Mercury ,you are very missed ! John Deacon, whatever reasons for your early retirement including the death of Freddie and possibly your mental health and grief over Freddie's loss....YOU ARE MISSED , too!
The auction of most of Freddie's personal belongings being auctioned by his girlfriend Mary Austin in late 2023....bothered me. She said shes fighting CANCER and her doctor told her to put "her affairs in order."
I dont guess the beautiful home Freddie bequeathed her has gone up for sale yet?
I know she got 50 million $ in the auction. She has two sons also.Freddie was Godfather to her oldest son.
I also bet Freddies ashes will be joined with Mary Austin's when she dies.
I'm grateful Brian May , Roger Taylor and Adam Lambert still tour as "QUEEN."
