AND... if you really listen to the lyrics of their songs...wow such good messages are found in them. And many say Disturbed's songs saved their lives. David Draiman...one of the best male vocalists on the planet imho. He has a tone to his voice I've never heard before. When he sings....you know who it is. He can go from angelic head voice to rasp/distortion on a dime and back....not easy to do. Also did you notice he can put vibrato on the distortion too? VERY difficult to do. Love your take on it !
David was sick with the flu on Conan and 102°fever had to sit on a stool because the band was afraid that he would pass out and fall.The Conan live version is the better version in my opinion. I’m recommending another Disturbed video that was released yesterday. David Draiman and Ann Wilson of Heart sing together on Don’t Tell Me, a song Draiman wrote after his marriage fell apart. Disturbed’s released it as a single when their new album came out last year. Original video was just an upside down sword floating in the air? This new one is terrific.

Great song, glad you enjoyed it. To me, this and Johnny Cash's "Hurt" have to be two of the best covers ever. Both the original and the cover are great and are nearly different songs. I'm new here, but noticed you like watching live performances. One of the best live performances I've seen on TH-cam is the Big Push's medley of "I Shot the Sheriff/Road to Zion/Hip Hop." They have several posted videos from that day of busking on a street in Brighton, UK last year. (Including a fantastic Black Sabbath medley titled "War Pigs" that adds a touch of Rage Against the Machine). The band has split up because the lead singer, Ren, has been overseas getting medical treatment. Ren is a truly unique artist that is worth your reaction time if you're inclined. He touches almost every genre of music - rock, hip hop, reggae, folk, dance, ballads, etc. "Hi Ren" is a great introduction to his songwriting and diverse sonics.
