My brother died a year ago Aug 1st... He fought in Vietnam. 82nd Airborne. So proud of him. So proud of my husband, my other brother and his brother. ALL served with honor.

My Dad was in the Military he was in the USAF and my papa was in the army. they both are veterans now and have a close relationship with God. If a cure comes for my disability i’m leaving to join the Military and fight for our freedom but if I can’t then I’m going to become a preacher! God is good.

Yeah he gets picked on because he was in the Air Force but it’s no different from being in the Marines or the army or the Coast Guard. Those jobs are still very tough. it doesn’t matter what branch you are in you’re still serving and helping out this world… Sure they may sit around but when you need air support they’re the ones to be there in two seconds.

My Uncle Ralph is on the Vietnam Memorial Wall. He sacrificed his life in Quang Nam in 1967. I thank him everyday.
He fought because he was forced to dam corrupt politicians 😢
He served 4 years in the Air Force. He came home for 6 months and then joined the Marines.

Kneel for the Lord and salute the flag one died for our sins and the other died serving our country.
December 2019, I delivered wreaths to 3 cemeteries of Fallen soldiers and veterans in Louisiana. Being able to lay the first wreath over that headstone, really hit home. Knowing that they gave their life for our freedom. And knowing they gave their life for us to live our lives the way we live and work the jobs we choose. As an over the road truck driver I thank these brave men and women for their sacrifice and service. To the ones who are over seas, come home safe please.

Most of the men in my family served. Army, US Coast Guard, Navy, and USAF. My fathervwas wounded in Korea. He had shrapnel in his leg just below the knee. After 70 years, he had his leg amputated from above the knee. He had osteomyelitis. Since the amputation he is healthier today than he has been over the years.

My grandpa was deployed to the front lines during the Vietnam war. My my uncle was deployed during Operation Desert Storm. And the war on terror. He was on the front lines during the invasion of Iraq.

My grandfather was in Veitnam and so did my uncle John . My grandfather is still living . But my uncle was Sadly killed in Veitnam so this song means a lot to me ❤❤
One of my great great Grandad's passed away when I was about five months old but I later found out that he was a Navy Seal. I also later found out that one of my great grandad's served in the army but sadly he passed away when I was about three years old. I was taught to always stand for our flag and this song has a absolutely wonderful message to it.

Good luck finding a teacher nowdays that teaches about the flag and not about how it's ok to be gay and what not else
Both are important.
My stepdad! He still has them learn about the flag meaning and every morning they go raise the flag he has been teaching them to correctly fold it. And from the city we live in he has stars for all the fallen soldiers and their names taped on the wall (for memorial day and the whole week before and after) they still stand for the pledge every morning. He really is something else!

my mother told me that my Great Grandfather passed away just recently and honest to truth I have an attachment to him through singing and he fought in WW2 and Korean war his name was Ron DePass and he is a very much a US Navy.
